They did great on my peircings but haven't tried tattoos yet. The one down side is that the pull out of your account so late that it messes you up if your not careful.

Great experience here! I went to get my cartilage pierced and it was (almost) painless. Amber was really nice and clearly very knowledgeable. She knew a lot about everything involved with piercing and explained everything in detail before starting. The shop was in great shape. HIGHLY recommend this place!

Yells and cusses at customers, including minors.
This is not a business with morals and gives tattoo shops that terrible stereotype. Do your research and a quick Google search you'll see they're the lowest rated shop in the area. Reading the reviews you'll see a pattern of the same toxic behavior. A complaint about an artist abusing a customer verbally and then gaslight damage control by the owners.
Do not spend your money here and please choose from the higher rating shops who are professional and care about their customers.

I got both my cheeks pierced there for 160$ very well practiced

After calling every day for the past 3 days and being told they didn’t know if the piercer would be coming in or not (surprise— they were not, despite being promised every day they would be in the very next day) I was finally able to get in on a day the piercer was there.

From the start I could tell this was going to be a rough experience, but after calling every piercer in the area with no luck, I was desperate. The receptionist immediately informed me she’d been out sick and this was her first day back and she was having trouble breathing. During COVID times, that’s the last thing you want to hear when you walk into a place.

As I was waiting, another customer was ahead of me and asking opinions for placement of a piercing, and the piercer said they only pierce and don’t issue styling opinions. In my experience, as a piercing ARTIST, styling is part of the job. If you go into a hairdresser and ask their opinion, they’re not going to say “I only cut hair, I don’t give opinions.” If you want customers to look good and feel good, just help them out. Also, the piercer offered either a stud or hoop for a fresh helix piercing on the customer. Most places WILL give a hoop as fresh jewelry, but only if the customer insists, because hoops notoriously heal slower than studs. None of this information was conveyed to the customer, who admitted she was a piercing novice as this was only her second piercing after her first lobes. Another aspect of piercing is to educate the client, which I can only hope was done in the room after the piercing had been put in, although I highly doubt this is the case. Also the tattoo artist was outside pounding beers the entire time I was waiting, so I wouldn’t put much faith in his work.

As for my experience: I needed help getting a pre-existing piece of jewelry put back in and the piercer was super unprofessional. They didn’t even sterilize the jewelry before putting it back in (but AFTER they insulted how high up the stud was— it’s an upper nostril piercing— that’s kind of the point). I would never, ever recommend getting a new piercing here. Luckily I wasn’t charged for the help with my jewelry, which is good because I likely would have refused to pay. Please please please stay healthy and safe, and stay away from this place.

I’m fully anticipating a response to this review, as the shop seems inclined to make every excuse in response to negative reviews rather than simply issuing an apology or changing their practices in any way. I look forward to it. 💕

I got two nose piercings same day. I was very impressed with the laid back, clean atmosphere. The piercer was very informative, and really put me at ease. He answered all my questions and got me in and out quickly. Also paid attention to how I was immediately after making sure I wasn't dizzy or about to pass out. Hoping to come back for more piercings and future tattoos.

Awesome experience. Gabe turned my 41 year old tattoo into a piece of art I'm proud to show off. Clean, friendly, and professional. I highly recommend this place.

Very bad experience, rude , condescending attitude ,from the woman with dread locks. She acted as if she had no desire to help me once I explained how motivated I was to get the tattoo done she jack the price up two $400 save your money go down the road 45 minutes got it done for $200 new revolution tattoo

Absolutely love my new tattoo I got today at Sugar Skulls . It was a very great experience from the moment I walked in the door and was welcomed by Diane Preister. I showed her what kind of tattoo I wanted she provided me with the email address to send it to so my tattoo artist Anna Argo could pull it right up and see what was wanted. Diane kept the front moving very smoothly . This is the fourth tattoo I have gotten from Anna. Anna is always very professional and always cleans and sanitizes between every customer. She always asks if I need any edits or any changes and always allows me to check the font for the writing in my tattoo. She always asks me to approve the finaI print out pattern transfer before she prints it out. I definitely highly recommend Anna Argo at Sugar Skulls and any other tattoo artist in this shop to anyone wanting a tattoo or a piercing. I also have had 3 piercings from Sugar Skulls and have not had a single issue or problem with any of them . I was explained how to take care of all of my tattoos & piercings before I left the shop.
