I’m only giving 5 stars because 10 are not available. Myself & my family have been shopping at David’s for about 24 years. Recently my daughter broke something her fiancé bought her at Davids the year they met. I called Carolyn up, described it to her and she actually had the same one there at the shop. She boxed it up and shipped it all the way to Colorado. She even threw in a few goodies for me! I love this place and I love the people who work there. I can always count on the connection I have with them no matter where on this planet I am! ❤️❤️❤️

My husband and i decided to get couples tattoos. We went to David's gallery and met Nick. He was extremely helpful in our choice and did a fantastic job. He even freehanded a palm tree for me. I couldn't have asked for a better artist as it was my husband's virgin tattoo. Thank you Nick!! Highly recommend this place and Nick especially.

Clothing that makes this hippie feel like a queen is hard to find...not at David's! They know their products. They know the laws and they follow them. This was the first place I purchased CBD oil (Charlotte's Web brand) when it became available to the general public after talking to one if the ladies about my panic attacks. 5 years later I still purchase my CBD and most hemp products from David's Gallery.

I absolutely loves this place. Went in for piercings and they were quick, clean, and she explained herself great. She talked me through every step of the process. Definitely won't be the last time in there!!

Went there on vacation 4 times and spent hundreds!!!! But unfortunately, the 2 older women that work there are So,So Rude! It's a hippie store, and we as hippies are happy and very friendly.....maybe YOU ladies should try it one day. Also, smiling makes you live longer(scientific fact)!!!!!!!

I wish there was a “zero” star rating...I went in for a simple small white feather on my forearm, I had a picture of what I wanted. The “artist” Slim said he didn't need a picture, he used a grey ink, he stretched my skin tight & went back & forth like a toddler scribbling with a crayon...it looked nothing like a feather, the ink seeped out for days...I used the tattoo cared recommended yet it took a long time to heal...it looks like a scar...people don’t get tattoos at the beach, go to a reputable tattoo artist where you live....wish i were able to post a picture.

David's Gallery is one of my must see places whenever I'm passing through Gulf Shores. I always stock up on incense when I'm there because they sell the best brand I've ever used. It's a shop where you can purchase a great deal of products for smoking tobacco or whatever recreational smoking habit you may have. I don't personally shop here for that but it's available for those who do. There is always a selection of hippy type clothing that is fun to look through and they usually have a clearance section on some clothing items. A tattoo shop is located here as well. It's a cool place to browse and maybe pick up a novelty item for a true beach shopping experience.

I got 2 tattoos, a small anchor on my ankle and some words on my back and it was $110 before tip. It has been almost 2 years since I got these tattoos and I am still very pleased with the way they held up. I am a little disappointed with the words on my back because for some reason when he typed it up, he capitalized the first letter of all the words except one..?? I suppose it was my responsibility to check that over but in the moment I wasn't super focused on that so I didn't notice until it was too late. :(

I LOVE DAVID'S GALLERY! Its like a Hip Hippy Mega store. I am a local and have been shopping here for years. Got my nose pierced on the tattoo and piercing side few years ago and they did a great job!! The shop sells super cute hippy clothing, purses, pipes, and beer funnels just to name a few items. Its a fun place to shop, young or old. If you come to GS check it out. Love the family that owns it. They have been on the island forever. Davids Gallery is more like a landmark than a retail store. Reasonably priced and the only place like it around.

The store seemed great, and definitely a great atmosphere. Had plenty of great items and even saw a finished tattoo that looked great. But, the woman at the front counter? TERRIBLE attitude. Unaware that the legal smoking age in Alabama was 19, I simply asked her if that was the case and she gave me a UGLY look and proceeded to say "Well duh". I also then saw her be rude with 2 more customers. If it wasn't for her I would have spent a good amount of money in there, but after that I wont go back.
