This was my first experience getting a tattoo, and I'm not quite sure what I expected, but I never would have imagined the process to be so pleasant. I originally stopped by the shop a few weeks ago to discuss the idea of getting a white tattoo. The guys at the shop were very up front about the potential downsides to doing so, but said that if I was still game, I should come back when Blake returned from vacation, since he had more experience with white tattoos. I did so, and he worked me into his schedule the next day.
The tattoo is still healing, so I can't speak to the finished results just yet. But so far it's exactly what I envisioned. It may still need a touch up once the scabbing has cleared up.
But what stood out to me more than anything is just how kind and funny and personable Blake was, and how he metaphorically held my hand throughout the entire process. The placement of the stencil wasn't exactly what I had in mind at first, and he patiently worked with me to get it perfect. My first inclination was to say that he worked hard to make sure that I was comfortable throughout the process, but it really didn't seem like work at all. He has an incredibly gentle (though undeniably mischievous) nature, and although I'm not generally one for small talk, I found it very easy to chat with him both during the tattooing process and when we would step outside for short breaks.
To be frank, I went in thinking of this as a one-time thing. But the entire experience was so pleasant that I'm already dreaming up ideas for my next tattoo with Blake.

I got my tragus pierced by Kenny yesterday. It was a great experience very quick. He did a great job and was very nice. The room was very clean and I felt very comfortable! highly recommend him for piercings!!

Ive never been to a shop and after coming here i wont be going anywhere else. Blake did an absolute incredible job! He was clean and made sure i was alright the whole time. The whole place has great energy and awesome people who work there. I refer all my friends and anyone who comments on my tattoo to go see Blake! Hands down amazing work

I highly recommend outlaw tattoo. Katie did my tattoo she is so friendly and helpful. After removing and relocating the stencil several times until it was perfect she did an amazing job. This is my favorite piece I have. Thanks again Katie I will definitely be in your chair again.

I went in for 3 tattoos and a piercing. They were very friendly and professional. The facility was clean. Kenny did an amazing job with my piercing. They sent me to the Prattville location only because they weren't comfortable with one of the tattoos I wanted. They wanted me to have the best experience possible! I absolutely loved my experience! Blake did my tattoo. It was my first one and he did an amazing job of making me feel at ease. My tattoo is beautiful and I'll definitely be going back for more! My only draw back is the 50 dollar minimum bc my tattoos I want are generally super small and simple but you couldn't ask for a better atmosphere or tattoo artist! Totally worth it!

Outlaw is THE ONLY tattoo shop that I will ever go to. Blake is my artist and he's absolutely amazing. Kenny is my piercer and he is just as amazing. I've had 3 tattoos and 2 piercings done by Blake and Kenny and I am very pleased with the work and the guys are always nice whenever I stop by.

Great people who do really professional work. We have had a few tattoos done here and the people can't be nicer. But more importantly, this is by far the BEST place in town to get piercings done. Kenny is the best person in Montgomery to do your piercing and we would be scared to go anywhere else!
