My daughter had her first tattoo here the other night and we were both EXTREMELY HAPPY with not only her piece, but her entire experience! We will definitely be returning customers!! I would give 10 stars if it was an option! Thanks Symbolic for making her idea come to life!! She's in love with it! I was also extremely happy with my piercing!!!❤️❤️💯💯

Ray is absolutely amazing! My friend and I came in for my birthday. She was getting a tattoo and I was getting three. He drew up everything we wanted perfectly and was super patient with us. I highly suggest going to him for any of your tattoo needs. I will definitely be going back!

This is my second time at Symbolic and I LOVE THEM! A clean environment, hilarious and the sweetest artists and all around a good vibe. I recommend them to all my friends for tattoos and piercings! I got a tattoo of my brothers handwriting and it is perfect — my mom gasped (Ray is AMAZING) 10/10 would go to Symbolic every day

Shawn was so awesome!!!! Me and two of my friends went to get ear piercings and he talked us through it all and was just great throughout all of it! Very personable and fabulous guy!

I got a tattoo from Ray last night. Awesome experience. I had stopped by the night before to talk to them about the tattoo I wanted and my limited availability and he said he would fit me in the next night! Exactly service. Very clean. I will definitely be a returning customer.

Rated 1 star but would give zero. I came in on the 26th of January for a conch and double tragus. Shawn was my piercer. I went here because the reviews praised Shawn for his customer service. After I got my piercing I was happy with it although it was painful but again it’s a piercing so it may hurt. After 3 days my ears were very tender , red, warm to touch. All signs of a possible infection. I tried to ignore it hoping it wasn’t true. [Disclaimer: I’ve had plenty of piercings. I know how to care for them and know what normal healing is suppose to be.] I ended up going to another piercing shop to get the piercings removed not only because they were past the point of being painful but also Shawn pierced my conch in the wrong location up into the cartilage of my ear. It’s not suppose to be that way. (Go look up conch piercings for reference. ) Also it was the wrong type of jewelry which I did say something about but he said no the labret was okay and I regret not being firm. He used decorative earring on a fresh piercing. It’s best to use jewelry that will help heal like the curved bar. The lady that tried to help removed my piercing was only able to take out one because they were screwed on super tight and on the ear with the conch it was too painful to the point of tears. She suggested I go to the Emergi-Care and get antibiotics because she also noticed signs of infection. Later that evening I went to Medcenter north in Northport and they had to literally give me lidocaine injection on each ear to be able to take out the piercings because again my ear was super tender and it was very painful and I was in tears like a child. At this point I’ve only had the piercing for 5 days!! They prescribed antibiotics for the ear infection from all 3 of the piercings .
Lastly I’m not a robot. I have a local guide star by my name. Im an actual person. My username isn’t my actual name on the document I signed before getting pierced. I did tip but wish I didn’t. I will get my ear pierced again once healed but I will not be returning here. I will go to where the lady was super nice and she did my first tragus at Cynical which turned out perfectly fine. Idk why I didn’t go there again but I’ve learned.

So I came here about two years ago for My first septum that ended up having to be taken out eventually due to pain and immense uncomfort. Due to this being my first I wasn’t sure how everything was supposed to be anyways. A guy in a wheelchair did mine and after recently getting it redone at Cynical, I’m able to document that he did Indeed pierce my cartilage. Theres a fair distance between the old bump and my new piercing also I know what pierced cartilage looks like now. It was in the wrong area to begin with hence the uncomfort, pain, and bump/scar in my nose. There wouldn’t be one if it were in the right spot. In the photo you can see the old hole. I wouldn’t recommend him specifically not a good first experience .
