Joelene is absolutely the best in Anchorage! No question. I have got 3 tattoos from her in the last few months, difficult and technical black and white cover ups and all have came out amazing. She is friendly, funny, and professional... she genuinely makes it a fun experience to go in and get tattooed. Her credentials and skills are amazing, she is constantly perfecting her art by traveling all over the country to attend tattoo conventions. She is diligent about sanitation and hygiene, and just all and all it is a great shop and a great experience!

I got a tattoo from Joelene about a month ago and it has healed wonderfully. She was able to see me last minute and was very easy to work with in designing the tattoo, which was really just an image from Google, but she added her own touches to the image to make it more personal. She is friendly and professional, and had a very reasonable price for the work she does. She even has free snacks for her clients (thanks for the dunkaroos too!). Will definitely return if I'm looking for a tattoo while in Anchorage in the future.

She knows her specialty and she sticks in her lane and she will let you know if it's not something she feels comfortable doing and if it's going to be on you for the rest of your life I would rather have an honest tattoo artist then someone telling me they could do it and screw it up, she is simply absolutely the best!
