Overpriced Inexperienced Tattoo Artist Faded Tattoo Minor Blowout

I got a tattoo here about a year ago, and I'm pretty unsatisfied with it. When I first went there, everyone was nice and getting the tattoo was pretty straight forward. However, I learned while getting the tattoo, that the guy had only been tattooing for about a year. That wasnt really a problem but he never told me he was an apprentice or anything and when he was done, I ended up paying about $300 for a name in script ( on the phone i was quoted $150-200). The price seemed a bit steep as I have gotten similar work for less and more work for about the same price, but every artist has their own price so I paid and thought that was that. It has been about a year and the tattoo is having minor blowout and some parts of the tattoo have faded. I think the shop and the people are great, however, the artist should gain more experience before charging so much for their work.
