Unfortunately my experience working with Matt was very negative. I had spoke to Matt at the shop and he seemed interested in my ideas and his reviews seemed positive but when I came in for my scedueld consultation he didnt even know I was coming, not sure if there was a communication error with his assistant or what happened. The consultation should have been a red flag when it only lasted about 2-3 minutes and he didnt take any notes or draw anything but he assured me he understood what I wanted and he could deliver and so I took a chance on him. I tried reaching out to him about the design latter but after he had my money it really seemed like he lost interest. The design he finally showed me right before my tattoo appointment was just 2 random pictures from Instagram, not even a custom design that I was promised. Then when I felt uncomfortable committing to the tattoo because it was not anywhere near what I had told him I wanted he told me that this was his process and tried to pressure me into just getting a tattoo with him. I asked for my deposit back seeing how he did no work and in my opinion acted very unprofessional but he refused. Seems like he was just interested in my money and not my ideas or me. Very disappointed in this experience but wanted to share so others arent scammed as well.
