"Jim Watson began his career tattooing in the windy city of Chicago starting in the late 1960's. Much of his time in Chicago was spent at Cliff Raven's tattoo shop, on Chicago's North side. While there, he focused all of his energy, and soaked up as much tattoo knowledge and technique as possible. In 1971, Jim opened up his own tattoo shop in the Capital Hill area of Denver, Colorado and after 4 successful years in Denver, Jim moved and settled in Phoenix, Arizona where he continued to tattoo up until his retirement. Jim established Artistic Tattoo in 1987 and has since become the longest-running tattoo shop in Phoenix, Arizona."

By far the best tattoo shop I've ever been to! They made sure I was comfortable and that I had the best experience possible. Everyone there is extremely kind and they do amazing work!
Their new location is very clean & they did an amazing job of revamping the style of their shop.

All of the positive reviews are correct. Danny B. is the man and hooked me up. The tattoo came out exactly as I wanted and he did everything clean and easy. This place also has the type of atmosphere you could feel comfortable bringing a family member into.

Amazing shop full of great people and positive energy. Danny does amazing work, his line work and attention to detail ensures you leave with not only a killer tattoo, but also a dope experience. Be prepared to be his walking advertisement after, I get asked atleast once a week about mine.

I made an appointment with Ivy!! I told her what I wanted a couple of days prior, and when I came into the shop, she had the most bitchin drawing! She is soo talented and pays close attention to detail, I will forever go to her whenever I visit!!

This is my number one, go-to tattoo shop, whenever I get the itch for some new artwork! Everyone here is so freaking sweet and extremely charismatic; they basically make you feel at home- everyone is really friendly too, so having conversations while they work on your piece, is never awkward. Everyone here has such confidence and grace with how they present themselves. It’s super unique compared to your average shop. I love, love, love, love, loooooove this place. You’ll definitely be seeing me in here several times a year! I can’t get enough of these people and their talent!

Jesska is an amazing artist, she drew this on my leg free hand, like come on look at how perfect that is. She is fast, super fun to get tattooed by and makes the time fly by while eases any and all your concerns. In love with their new space as well since they have moved, the shop is very clean and the whole staff is very friendly!
