Each one of the artists in this space has a special talent! Not only are they a complete shop that can cover any style you might be looking for but they all understand community and professionalism. You won’t feel any shame in here for asking for the tattoo you are looking for. None of the “cool guy” artists here just solid people that are psyched to help you find the right experience! Not to mention Jon wrapped it all up in a beautiful space that encompasses exactly what Scottsdale is and should continue to strive for. Bravo Dame of the West, you created something really special here!

Both visits were spur of the moment and I was able to be fitted in. I gave the artist the creative go-ahead to design the actual tat after providing my idea. I loved both tattoos. When I'm back in Phoenix, I will be visiting again for another tat. They are awesome!!!!

Went for a walk-in session, having been in to check out the shop beforehand. The shop is super clean and professional and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The shop climate conveys the artists' styles and communicates their dedication to tattooing as an art form. Got two small tattoos from Max; his linework is clean and he works quickly. The prices are in line with artists who know their craft and take pride in their work. Overall I was impressed with the shop in general and with Max in particular. I will definitely be going back in the near future. This may not be the shop for your Scottsdale weekend souvenir tattoo, but if you want beautiful work, applied by professionals, this is your place.

First off, I have more than half my body already tattooed & I’ve gone to shops all over the country. This is the best vibe in any shop I’ve ever been to. Every single artist here is incredibly talented so you can’t go wrong with whoever you decide to go with. If you’re looking for a chill atmosphere to get some ink I couldn’t recommend a better place than Dame of the West. Hands down - best crew in Scottsdale.

Love this shop! It’s clean, well put together and the manager Austin is always friendly. Also, Jon makes it super easy to get an appointment with. His work is awesome and I got exactly what I wanted. I’ve had a hard time finding a creative, down to earth artist and I can honestly say I found that in Jon. Would recommend to anyone!
