I got in touch with them through FB. After exchanging a couple short messages, and waiting a couple days, I still never received any kind of response from anyone, and it's been a week as of right now. Suffice it to say I thought it was rude and unprofessional. I ended up going to Artisic Tattoo who are absolutely great and you can see my my review on their page. I would recommend Artistic Tattoo to anyone who is searching for a shop Instead of Fort City.

Love both Brandy and Jeffs work, gotten some of my most loved and well done tattoos here. Brandy is the sweetest and she’s always friendly and understanding. She takes my ideas and turns them into masterpieces. I wouldn’t recommend any other place more.

I hadn’t been about to find a tattoo artist I liked since moving to the area a few years ago from Colorado, but then I got tattooed by Jeff Slack and he’s been doing a lot of stuff for me lately and it’s all amazing. Clean shop, he’s quick, detailed and does great work. I highly recommend Fort City!

Editing my review to add: The new shop location in Van Buren is incredible. Super clean and a really great vibe, love that they have more room and more artists now! Mav, Colton, Brandy, and Ward are all great at what they do! Go check them out and make an appt!

I’ve had a lot of work done here by Slack. He blasts bold, clean lines every time and is one of the best traditional artist in the game. The shop has a really cool oldschool tattoo shop vibe in downtown fort smith, with some great flash to look at while you’re laying for your appointment. Which you gotta make ahead of time bc he’s so booked up (which is what I want from the person putting a permanent piece of art on my body). 10/10 recommend
