Piercings are over priced and did not heal properly.
I got a nose piercing from a piercer named Cherie. The piercing and jewelry cost a total of $125, when it is normally around $50 at other places. 2 days after getting the piercing, my nose got infected and the earring started to be pulled through my nose due to swelling. Cherie used a gold stud earring with a flat back. I was informed that this type of earring, with a shorter stem, gave no room for swelling during the healing process.

I was very disappointed. I paid a lot of money expecting to get great service. It is clear that the price tag does not match Cherie's service. I paid $125 for an infected nose piercing.

I have 14 other piercing so I have experience with aftercare and I know what works with my body. I have never had a piercing experience like this.
I got the piercing taken out by True Ink Tattoo and they were absolutely amazing.

I highly suggest to anyone wanting a piercing to seek out other piercing places in Chico.

I took my daughter here to get her ears pierced. Very clean, professional environment. Her ears look great with the jewellery they had. Thanks a bunch!!

I went here on Saturday and had Rowan pierce my nose, I have no tattoos, no other piercings except one in each earlobe and I was pretty nervous. She and the staff were so polite and she talked to me so I’d be distracted and was so quick and clean. I HIGHLY recommend Red Room and love my new nose piercing!!

Just got my second tattoo from Forrest Elliot here and it came out awesome! He’s very easy going, straight forward about suggestions and making sure tattoo placement makes sense; overall an amazing artist. Great work, very clean, and chill atmosphere. Always a pleasure.

Even tho they were pretty busy, I got seen pretty quickly. My piercer (Rowan i believe) was amazing! I was kind of nervous when I went in and she made me feel comfortable with her quickly and gave me the information I needed. Absolute love her vibes and would totally recommend her!!

Love this place. I walked in and was spoken to immediately by the cutie at the front desk. My tattooist, Forrest, had already had everything together and ready for me. Every other tattooist there was super kind and engaged with me. There was a sense of comradery about the place that made it feel welcoming, unlike other shops I've been in where everyone is too cool to even look your way. My tattoo turned out perfect, too. I'd recommend this parlor again and again.

I have been a loyal customer of Red Room for the past 7 years, I have spent hundreds of dollars on tattoos and piercings here and I WILL NEVER BE RETURNING. THIS IS THE WORST SHOP IN CHICO. I WILL NOT REFER ANYONE HERE EVER AGAIN AND WILL CONTINUE TO LEAVE BAD REVIEWS. The body piercer, Cherie is THE WORST. Absolutely completely rude from the 1st phone call, she went into her personal life and how we can't be "cutting it close" because she has to take a bus home. So once my mom and I get there, her assistant in training helps us find jewelry and we are very questionable about the prices and how much each piece costs and she breaks down the price and she said that the one that we had chosen would be $30 for the piercing. So we give her our IDs, we go in the back and get both our ears pierced and then we come out to pay after and the assistant rings us up and says OH your totals going to be a $140. So obviously at this point were shocked, and we have no idea where this price has come from and then she starts to explain well you paid for the post and you paid for the front and you paid for the piercing and all these additional fees that were not mentioned in the beginning of our encounter. Obviously we are hesitant but mostly upset that this information was not provided and then assistant lies to us and she says "I told you these fees" when she did not at all tell us any of these fees, so then piercer Cherie comes back out and goes "are you arguing?v and we explain no we're just confused about this price and she's like "well if you have a problem with that we can go in the back and take it out" and that was her resolution. No compensation for the misinformation, not even an apology. Then she continued to stand in the back room and talk bad about me and my mom. I am absolutely disgusted with this shop.
