I went to four different tattoo shops just to be met with blank stares and being told to come back later for a consultation. About to give up,I stopped by California Tattoo my way home. The artist working immediately agree to help me and began to design my piece right away. Even though it was end of the day, I was able to come back within a couple of hours and he stayed after hours to work on my piece. The work was beautiful and customer service was exceptional. I would highly recommend them and will be going back to this shop from now on.

I was totally not in the mood for small talk. This fool had me giggling and talking cuz he relates. He understands Parenthood and just needed to get ink. And my tattoo is amazing and we haven't even done color yet.

Jerry has done my last few tatts, very good artist doing great detail. While he's there he'll touch up your other ones.
Some commenters have made some odd comments but remember - It's a damn tattoo shoppe! Run by tattooers! This is not for the foo-foo wine sipping crowd, neither are most of the good ones!

Gave Frankie exactly what I wanted & instead I got upside down A's and a bad attitude from him when I asked about it. He said he did it on purpose (he must have forgot to get my okay first). Shop owner Jerry promised to make things right and give me a refund so I can go try to get it fixed and after a month of dodging me, finally gave me $100 of it and said he would not be refunding the rest. There are so many amazing shops in sac. Take your money somewhere that is deserving.

Mike is doing a half sleeve for me right now and in the process he will be fixing what another local reputable shop did. He has done most of the outline work which is pretty detailed and he has done a great job so far. It's a Polynesian design so there are a lot of strait parallel lines close together and it looks great. I would definitely recommend Mike.
