Sailor's Grave Tattoo

My husband and I set an appointment here to get Anniversary tattoos only to find out that I was looking at the wrong Eureka. Unfortunately we weren't able to make the 32 hour drive to make it on time but they were very kind and understanding of my mistake. Highly recommend if you're wanting someone very kind and understanding. Hopefully we can follow through on our appointment next time :)

I recently got a small tattoo here with Robert, and was really clear with the fact that it had meaning. He barely made eye contact, was super annoyed at any input, and even after me saying multiple times that I wanted it smaller than what he drew, and him re-assuring it would be, it ended up being exactly the size I said was too big. There wasn't a single bit of "customer" service much less client interaction, and absolutely no attention to detail. The line work is shoddy, when I asked to pick the blue I wanted he was so annoyed, and there wasn't even a second to take a picture so I could see it (back of neck). It took him less than 15 mins, he charged $100. For what was supposed to have been a small star. Basically, there wasn't any "art" or "client service".

There's a bunch of art in his station and I kept asking if certain pieces were his and they weren't. He just kept saying no. I asked which one was his and he never answered.

This was a tattoo after a grief cycle. Truth is, I had a serious buzz on. Not even sure if he legally could've tattooed me. He never asked for an ID, never asked a single thing. My fault for sitting down. Obviously I have the "blame" tattooed on me. Regardless, this guy shouldn't be tattooing.

I had a wonderful experience there so accommodating they had snacks. Give me a fan was OK with me taking breaks very professional, very clean. I would definitely recommend in the future I’ll be going back.

My husband & I are visiting the area for our honeymoon & decided to get simple tattoos of each other’s birth flowers. The guys at Sailor’s Grave got us in as walk ins & were super kind & friendly! The facility is very neat & clean & our tattoo experience was wonderful. They also gave us some recommendations on local places to visit & eat. We 100% recommend!

Called to ask about the brand and quality of ink they use and the guy had attitude. He said I'm not gonna tell you what brand we use. I am a tattoo artist myself, and if he can't tell me what's going into my skin then no thank you!! He stated they made their own ink from powder pigment however was unable to speak in an informed manor about the ingredients with in the ink. If he doesn't know what he's doing he is definitely not tattooing me. He was extremely rude and I have zero desire to ever go to this shop now after this interaction. Horrible customer service with a nasty attitude! Find yourself a quality shop with artists that know what they're doing and treat you with respect.

After weeks of back and forth, online. I made an apt with Rob who quickly told me, “dude, I won’t even do a drawing or agree to do the work without a $500 deposit…UP FRONT!” Ok. Brought the cash. But wouldn’t let this dude tattoo a number on a Steer! Rude, unprofessional and Def NOT SOMEONE you want to invest your time or $ with.

Great shop. Good people. Henry is a talented artist, a good conversationalist, and all around good guy. Consistently good work, clean and professional. He is the best American traditional artist in the area and takes pride in all his work from large custom pieces to simple shop minimum tattoos. Reasonable prices for the quality of work, but if you're choosing artists based on lowest price your tattoo will reflect that!

The tattoo artists are quite nice. Highly recommend them as they can do some badass, and well detailed tattoos (pic once mine is healed up.

They are a cash only spot, sometimes offer specials, and can draw well/give advice.

I showed up as a walk-in and they had several artists available to get my tat done right then and there. The price was great, tat took about an hour, and I love how it came out! Bryan was my artist.

I highly recommend this tattoo shop! It was clean, I felt welcomed, and the music was nice too (mostly rock/metal).

I love my tattoo! Great artistry, wonderful quality. I will eagerly return. Excellent for nautical styles, but many artists on staff with varied styles. Super clean!
