I got my 1st tattoo here. I was nervous, no need to be with Henry, the artist/owner. Henry is very gentle and listens to you. I had my late Moms initials, in her own handwriting, tattooed on my wrist. He copied her writing perfectly. Now my Mom will always be traveling with me.
This lasting treasure was inked on my Birthday, what a gift!
I would recommend Shooting Ink on Main in Grass Valley, and Henry, especially if this is your 1st time.

I absolutely appreciate the respect and straightforward-ness. The establishment is clean and organized. I was comfortable before and after my piercing. They give clear instructions before the procedure and make sure you understand every part of the process. I took my daughter to them a couple years ago for her nose piercing and decided last week to go to them for mine. We're very pleased with the piercing and healing process. I definitely recommend Shooting Ink Tattoo!

I went in to talk about making an old tat updated. He is very helpful and is going to work on some new drawings for me. Husband and wife team . They are very talented. She uns and makes the clothes and jewelry and other things in her shop.He does the tatoo and piercings in his. I felt at home there. Personable couple, down to earth.

PERFECTION!!! Henry is the real deal, a TRUE ARTIST. He is one of the easiest people to work with on design and had multiple options for me to choose from, all were amazing, it was a tough decision, but with his help I made the right chose. I got my first tattoo here, and a few more since then. I've also got a fair share of piercings here as well, and the quality continues to be great. Always very clean and Henry takes care to inform you of what he's doing and of course how to handle the aftercare. My 13 year old and 8 year old went in for ear piercings, and the oldest didn't want to go through with it. The youngest had them done. He did an amazing job. I'd recommend him to anyone. He made my girls feel at ease, and mother, too, regardless of the different choices that were made by my girls.
