This review is for Vee Hart: Firstly, he is undoubtedly a highly talented artist...BUT, this guy has zero sense of professionalism. You can expect him to show up an hour late for your appointment (if you're lucky). If you have a piece done by him and feel it needs any sort of touch ups, don't expect it to happen.
WORST of all, after getting my tattoo done and wanting to go back for a couple minor touch ups and going over adding onto the piece, he took another $200 deposit. He then cancelled two hours before the appointment. After being "rescheduled" for another day, he completely goes missing. I simply asked for my deposit back, he said 3 times he would return it and never did. If this isn't direct theft, I don't know what it is.
I only feel bad leaving a bad review for the entire shop, as I know there are a lot of great artists and good people here, but this kind of thing needs to be addressed and cannot happen to others.

I came here the other day. For my birthday tattoo. .this shop is well known and has been around for years. They have multiple artist that tattoo here.
They do great work ! They don't overcharge you .

I drove more then 4 hours away just to come to this shop and I was NOT disappointed! It was amazing to see people from San Diego and even Turkey here at the shop getting blessed by these amazing artists. The vibe was great and the hospitality was awesome! Jay did an incredible job of my daughters portrait on my arm and it blew my mind. Thanks again Jay and everyone at the shop! Will be coming back soon.

The reason behind this 1 star review is due to the lack of professionalism from an artist named Mitch! Not only was he 2 hours late to our appointment, but I waited 2 additional hours for him to get ready! (11am-3pm). I paid for a FULL day session, and only got about 5 hours of tattooing. He demanded $800 once our session was over and not to mention the $200 I paid to book the appointment which he was 2hrs LATE to! Another reason I am giving a 1 star review is because he left me with an unfinished tattoo and ignored most of my calls/texts after our first session! He tattooed me back in Dec 2018, it's March 2019 and still nothing! I feel ROBBED!! Paying $1000 to him for 5hrs of tattooing and leaving me with an unfinished tattoo is far beyond unacceptable! How can Under the Gun Tattoo Shop allow an artist to treat customers like this!! I had no choice but to go to another artist to FIX my unfinished tattoo, which is why I also waited this long to post this review.It amazed me how the new shop I went to, all the artist there know Mitch and they said the same thing, "He's a DIRTY ARTIST" "couldn't even get the ink to stick to the skin" ETC... I wonder how many other people this DIRTY ARTIST screwed over!! I sure hope the boss/owner reads this review so he realizes who he has working for him, a snake.

I have got into half sleeves done at the shop the shop owner and his workers are real cool especially with all the music they play it make you feel right at home they joke around like family and treat each other the same way the hard the artwork they do speak for itself I seen them at an expo and they get down I've always gone back I always recommend this place for people that want to get any work done.

Stuck up , just got a picture with justin bieber, he think he all that, tattoo are meh quality, not the only tattoo artist in the world and definitely not the Best.... dont waste your time coming here
