"Sacramento Tattoo and Piercing is the oldest tattoo shop in Sacramento. Opened in 1991 it was acquired 1998 by Dave O’Connor and Eric Hogan; Dave became sole owner in 2002. After Dave's death in 2020, long-time tattoo artist Bill Lorenz took ownership. Sacramento Tattoo is a traditional street shop, open to walk-ins for flash or custom work. Everyone in the shop is kind, friendly and willing to talk to people just toying with the idea of getting their first tattoo/piercing, as well as the seasoned customer who wants to add to their collection of skin art. Located at 2722 X St, Sacramento CA 95818, between 27th and 28th streets, there is plenty of on-street parking. Due to Covid-19 concerns, please wear a mask and leave children at home."

Came here for a few piercings for my birthday. Everyone was so nice & friendly. Steph did my piercings, I did my smiley first followed by my cartlidge . She was very thorough with her job & made me feel at ease. I will be recommending her to my friends & as well as be coming back for more 😁

This place is still open! Got my first tattoo here in 2002! Took my teenager here for her first nose piercing. She loved the entire experience and her piercer made her feel super comfortable.
Great tattoos and piercings. Private, clean, covid friendly, and great lobby. Awesome art. Highly recommended!

I took my two teen daughters for a belly piercing! We love Steph. She made my girls feel real comfortable. We got some laughs in and we chatted like we've known each other for forever! There was a lady there before us that transferred her bad energy but Steph handled it like a G and got us on our way! We will definitely be back! Love them!❤️

Got my ears pierced the day that I called to make an appointment, ( no wait time ) the location is not far from my job. I also got a tattoo there like 5 winters ago it still looks healthy. I will be back at that place in less then 8 weeks to get some hoop earrings.
