Mariana’s fine lines and color are stunning. I worked with her on a custom piece for my side body. I had an idea but not a full picture of what I wanted and she worked with me in person and over email on the art until I was fully satisfied with the drawing. She created a safe and friendly environment during our first 6.5 hours of tattooing. The tattoo came out amazing, I’ve already gotten many compliments, can’t wait to finish the final touches!

I reached out to Family Business Tattoo via website and email, I was surprised on how quickly they got back to me. I was able to submit my art and get an appointment in about 4 days. I have experienced nightmares from other tattoo parlors on appointment setting alone! Their process is efficient and effective.
The owner welcomed me into his shop like it was his home, offered me coffee, food, water, etc. Aside from his art, he prioritized the comfort of his customers which is a big plus. If I wasn’t getting a tattoo I would think I was in a spa. He shared many stories about Brazil and gave me some great food recommendations! Not only did I leave with a tattoo that I was 100% happy with, I left with some history and knowledge of Brazil to include their legendary food! I went straight to Brazil by the Bay after my appointment.
I would 100% recommend Family Business Tattoo San Diego, I wouldn’t go to any other tattoo parlor, and any time I’m in town I will gladly stop by even if it’s to just say hello.

I absolutely LOVE this shop! First of all of the people there are extremely nice and the shop itself has such an awesome feel about it. We were in San Diego for a vacation from Arizona and just stopped in and I met Fellipe who touched up my tattoo I had and added something that was very special to me that I wanted for years. In my eyes it was perfection! We will definitely make this an annual visit when we come back next summer!

Best tattoo shop i’ve been to, i love all the artists but i always go to mariana. she has done 3 of my tattoos & pierced my belly button. i love her work and all the artists are friendly and open to your creative ideas. the whole atmosphere is comfortable, clean and professional. highly, highly recommend !! i love it here & will never get tattooed or pierced anywhere else <3
