I went into Family Business Tattoo having only seen their Instagram, I was really impressed by the variety of tattoos they were doing, all the styles and the general quality of them. Let me say, I don’t think the photos do the artwork justice. I got a stunning fern done on my forearm, about 8 inches long. It’s flawless, the shading, the lines, everything about it. It’s my favorite tattoo I’ve ever gotten. Not to mention it only took 45 minutes.
I wholeheartedly trust the owners and their abilities. They’re so sweet and so talented. The shop is really clean, their personalities really shine through in the decor.
Overall, very professional, wonderful work, fair prices. Phenomenal owners, fantastic shop

"You are starting to look handsome with all these tattoos". These words are always said when i come by and visit the shop. Ronnie is my first and still to this day the only tattoo artist that i will go to for anything. Mariana always welcoming in and trying to persuade me on getting my whole back done cracks me up every time. These two souls have made my journey of getting tattoos exciting, fun and they are family. Family vibes and warm atmosphere is essential to create that strong relationship between artist and person. This shop has that and more to make sure you are receiving the best experience! I just finished my chest piece with Deanna, who is talented, creative, and equipped with the hands of an angel! My first session with her took 6 hours and it was like a spa day 😌 The energy amongst the shop is very wholesome, emphasizing the essence of its name "Family Business". All artists were very professional, and the waiting area as well as the tattoo stations were well kept. AND the secondskin bandage they apply after is a game changer for the healing process 🙌 I would highly recommend this business for your tattoo and piercing services if you're in San Diego 🙂

Mariana tattooed me at Family Businesss Tattoo and I was not disappointed! She exceeded all of my expectations. She is so lovely, calming, and amazing at what she does. the whole time she was checking in on me, asking if I needed water, coffee or chocolate!!😂 the whole vibe of the shop is wholesome and her husband is great too. I love the piece she did for me on my forearm. I told her what I had in mind and she designed the piece perfectly and is a fast worker!! I have a hard time sitting still but she had no problem with that and did a beautiful piece. My bf has been tattooed by her too and loves it. We will always go back. A laid back environment that you can trust!

He is flexible with timing, patient with me while we collaborated on sizing and positioning for my tattoo, and hits it out of the park every single time! Visited from out of town with a girlfriend. We were able to get two small tattoos as a walk in with Daniel. He drew up exactly what we wanted and was very patient with our indecisiveness :) we had such an amazing experience with Daniel that I came back the next day for a bigger piece on my thigh. Great work, very professional and warm vibe. Couldn’t recommend them enough!
