Cody was my tattoo artist and did a great job on a bird tattoo up my hand.
At first, he wasn't the most friendly (and seemed a bit annoyed by my desire to re-iterate the sketch up) but he warmed up and at the end of the day, he did a fantastic job on my tattoo. Touch ups are free, and rather than spend 2 minutes, he spent 1/3 of the original ink time touching up my tat when I showed up a few months later.

Just gotta laugh at those that judge a tattoo shop by anything else other than the art and the artist themselves. Forget the city, the artist inside of Black Heart's walls are some of the best in the country. Set an appointment with David and he really took my idea and ran with it, transforming it into something a 1,000 times better as an image with the line work and color executed to perfection. Thanks again David!

Black heart is an amazing shop that beats with the pulse of the old San Francisco before electric skateboards and brogrammers invaded the Mission. Situated in the heart of Mission Black Heart has amazing artists that take the time and listen to your requests and work with you on what you want to create. They are the only tattoo shop I trust and am proud to refer people to!
