Black Serum Tattoo

Cache was an amazing artist! She gave me a beautiful custom piece that could not be more gorgeous. She was so kind and it was a wonderful first tattoo. I could not recommend her and Black Serum enough!!

Black Serum is such a cool spot. Anita Darkling is so polite and extremely talented. I have gotten 2 tattoos done by her in the past year. Every part of the process with Anita was easy and professional. I am so privileged to have her art on my body.

Just got my first tattoo here and it was a great experience! The studio is clean, professional, and beautifully decorated, and my artist (Sai) worked with me to create exactly the design I was trying to achieve. Highly recommend and will be looking to get more tattoos here in the future.

The atmosphere was super calm and relaxing. I got a tattoo from Kylin who is amazing. She held a conversation the whole time doing a four hour single needle tattoo. Can't recommend Black Serum or Kylin more!

Emma is an amazing artist! She's very patient and kind. I was late as I made my calendar wrong and she was very professional about it. I felt super bad about my mistake but she was able to get things done with ease! I love love love my new piece. It is delicate (my first fine line tattoo) and looking at it makes me extremely happy. I hope to get more work done on me. The shop is quiet and there are a lot of people that come in to get work done. A really nice and calm atmosphere. Thank you Emma! You're amazing!!!

I had a great experience at Black Serum getting my first tattoo. The gracious staff and artists, along with the clean and carefully created aesthetic of the space, made me at ease immediately. And really, when I walked in and took in all the tiny details, the carefully selected and placed objects and artworks around the room, I knew I was in good hands.

Brücius is clearly a gifted artist, but what impressed me most about working with him, aside from his quiet and generous nature, was his ability to intuit what aspects of the artwork were most important to me and then to take special attention with these. The resulting artwork is beyond my expectations and I'm very, very pleased.

Emma is amazing. My three sister's and I are working with her on sister tattoos. I went in with an idea for a fine line botanical tattoo and together we came up with a beautiful design that works well with body placement (she gave some great advice on placement). I'm so happy with it! Emma was transparent throughout the whole tattoo process and seemed intentional about collaborating/sharing power, which I appreciated. Can't wait to go back with my sisters for their tattoos -- and maybe another one of my own.

Anita at Black Serum did a great job on my tattoo today! She is thorough, clean and safe, and a talented artist. She used the design provided by my daughter and completed it wonderfully. Absolutely fantastic Tattoo Studio! I couldn't be more pleased! The studio is really clean and has all the latest design tools. I was really digging the hybrid gothic/naturalist vibe too. I came to the shop for an appointment with @anitadarkling with a sketch of what I thought I wanted. In roughly a minute or two, she made the sketch 3x better and I can't stop smiling whenever I look the resultant tattoo, the level of detail is just astonishing. I can't wait to go back with another tattoo idea

First and foremost the studio itself is absolutely awe inspiring. It's so beautiful with a million wonderful thing to look at. The vibe in the studio is so soothing and calm. It is extremely professional and it was insanely clean. The music was great and everyone that worked there was very nice.
Now to speak on the incomparable talent of the artists that work there. Every artist has a very beautiful, distinctive and unique style. Each artist is certainly a master of their individual style's. I was also told that they constantly have world renown artists doing guest spots with them. Which I love. I personally traveled from Utah to come to Black Serum for Sirimontra. I brought in a concept that I had wanted for 10+ years. I felt like she was the right artist to do this tattoo for me and I was absolutely right. The fine detail of the tattoo blows my mind. I still stare at it in the mirror finding new beautiful things in the tattoo. I have another piece that I want done by Emma. I fell in love with her style while I was in the studio. I'll be booking with her and traveling back out there to have her work on me. Honestly, I will definitely be traveling out to Black Serum for all of my tattoos from where ever it is I find myself. I'm hooked. Thank you Black Serum you've truly raised the bar.
