If I could give 10 stars, I would. Charlie is an amazing person who makes your feel comfortable and is willing to go above and beyond to make sure your piece is done right! Charlie is patient, kind, and pays close attention to the piece and even how you're feeling during the whole process. I highly recommend and will be reaching out again for another piece!! :)

I got my very first tattoo here by Anita and my experiences were great! Throughout the entire process including scheduling, Anita was professional and communicative. There was a not so last minute design change and she was quite supportive of the vision and excited to play with the sketching out of the piece. Quite collaborative. During the actual tattooing a guy some colleague perhaps the manager came around to ask about a staff meeting (weirdo) and she remained hyper-focused on the art.
I noticed that my tattoo (fine line/single needle) was showing tiny gaps and followed up. Anita scheduled a touch-up visit which was a very pleasant experience as well. It’s pretty common for our bodies to reject foreign entities (ie ink) as it heals so a touch-up soon after was not uncommon. Thanks again Anita. I will be planning futures tattoo ideas and will be a return client :)

Black Serum is a clean shop and has a great atmosphere. I got my leg sleeve completed at Black Serum by (Anna) Mimi-Sama and could not be happier with the work she did! She listened to my ideas and came up with a beautiful piece. Mimi-Sama does fantastic work and is truly talented. I highly recommend her.

I got a tattoo at Black Serum back in December (well before quarantine started) and it was the most fantastic experience I've ever had with a tattoo artist and studio. Emma Flores, who worked with me, was professional, communicative, and all around an incredible person to work with. She took so much time and care in making sure the artwork was true to my vision, and never made me feel pressured to put something on my body I didn't love. The studio was very clean (with a bangin' aesthetic, too) - tattoo was worth every penny. Would recommend!

I also really liked the building and the space. From the outside it looks small but Its a lot bigger on the inside. There are a lot of other rooms/areas than the one you can see from the outside. The place also felt very clean and structured.
