Great shop with amazing artists! I have a few tattoos done by the shops newest artist, Miguel and I love them! Listened to what I wanted, came up with great renderings and executed them in a clean and professional manner. I am beyond happy with my experience. Check them out!

Tattoo infected!! I really enjoyed coming to the shop, the atmosphere & people were fantastic… but I tattoo as-well, and never have i seen a tattoo get infected like this. I appreciate the vibes but ouch, photos outline healing from a few days to 2 weeks after. i’d come again, but maybe not for another tattoo

Can’t recommend Wes Bird tattoo enough! He’s such an affirming artist and has an incredibly gentle hand and calm presence. He did a freehand cover up on my inner wrist and the way he added depth instead of just blacking it out was so innovative. Blew my mind. Thank you Wes!

Retrocade Tattoo is a prime location if you are in search of quality body art. Wes, the artist who I worked with, is as kind as he is a very skilled artist; he communicated well in the booking and design phase and worked magic to design and ink a beautifully detailed and expertly colored and shaded flower on my left forearm. His various works can be seen posted on Instagram or in physical/original form on the walls around the establishment and are a testament to his degree of accomplishment as an artist. Thank you Wes!

I love retrocade! They have such unique items that you can't find anywhere else, records, clothes, local products. The arcade is so fun they have every game you could ever want. The owners are so kind and friendly and they care about their customers. Their tattoo station is clean and they have guest artists in often, this place is fantastic.

I love this new spot in SLO. Great vibe. creative. funky. cool vintage stuff to buy! Super fun tattoo space. As an artist myself I can fully attest to these owners: They respect art, artists, and most definitely, they DO NOT steal designs. Go check them out and see the space for yourself. Torres is an amazing artist! He has incredible attention to detail, my husband and I are always getting compliments for the artwork he has done.

Great work! Great vibe! Great artists and people! They sell local art which is so cool. My buddy is young and nowhere takes him seriously but retrocade was happy to feature him and “give him a chance” to get his work out into the community. They are all about community here. Retrocade is creating a cool culture here in slo. Don’t be intimidated. They are so nice and willing to help out young new artists. The black light arcade feels like you’re in a club. They have rad tunes playing or the owner plays his banjo and guitar! Only complaint is I wish it was bigger!

This is such a cute little shop! Glad I found it! It has all sorts of retro clothes and goodies and there always seems to be something new. They have an arcade in the back that my son loved and even won prizes. The owner, Jess, was super helpful and nice. Highly recommend!
