I've been to most of the studios in SLO, this one is by far the best. I'm looking for cleanliness, professionalism, price, and jewelry choice. Traditional is leagues above the competition in all of these. The service is friendly, the piercing artists clearly take pride in their work and make you very comfortable. 10/10 recommend

I got my nose pierced and I explained to Matt, the man who did it, that I was super nervous because I'm afraid of needles. He was so sweet about it and explained exactly what he was going to do before hand so I felt less nervous. He was super gentle and he definitely knew what he was doing, and he, like everyone else I talked to at Traditional, seemed to really care about the work he did. If I ever want another piercing, I'm going here.

I got my second tattoo at traditional it was such a great experience!! They got back to me within a day and I was able to get an appointment just a few days later. Niko was super nice and friendly and copied the design I wanted perfectly. Will definitely be going back.

Traditional tattoo was highly recommended by my stylist when I finally decided it was time to get my ears pierced. They were very professional and I was impressed by the steps my piercer took to insure a sterile environment, every bit as clean as having minor procedures at a doctors office.

Fantastic piercer (Ray, I believe), very professional, gentle, and precise. Didn't rush through or cut corners at all, made sure everything was exactly where I wanted it before it was pierced. Explained what he was doing and why when I asked (because I'm curious), no impatience.

Had a consult with Brian today for an add on/sleeve we’re going to be starting Friday. Couldn’t have asked for a better dude to do the piece. He’s super chill, professional, and has a bunch of solid ideas to add. I noticed that he takes a lot of pride in his work and wants to make sure that everyone is happy and on the same page. As for the shop itself, the whole front lobby/waiting area is floor to ceiling windows so it has tons of natural light that floods the place which is rad. Solid walls ruin the vibe at other shops because it makes them dark and dingey. My opinion. But the guy and the young lady (sorry I don’t remember your names) at the front desk couldn’t have been nicer either. Within 10 seconds of my arrival into a crowded lobby, they welcomed me in and helped me right away. When I say crowded there were about 7-8 people ahead of me and I was the only dude, which also made the wait 7-8x more pleasant 🤓
In summary, I give everyone over at Tradional Tattoo two 👍👍 up and 5 ⭐️ service.
