Lake Monster Tattoo

Came to Lake Monster for a piercing on my birthday. I was able to make a same-day appointment! Nerissa did an amazing job. The shop was beautiful and very clean, and Nerissa made me feel so comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire experience. Definitely the best piercing experience I've ever had. They also had a great selection of body jewelry in store! I'd highly recommend Lake Monster to anyone looking to get a piercing in South Lake! I'll definitely be back next time I visit Lake Tahoe.

Aside from being very clean a few parking spaces out front with lots of parking in the rear. Everyone there is really nice and helpful... Definitely great artists! And great work! I've been going for about 3 years and will continue to go there for my ink.

I got a septum piercing here and it was very quick and easy. It was only sore for about 2 hours immediately after the piercing and then I never felt any soreness or pain again. The workers are really nice and give helpful care advice.

I've been going here for years. Reed and Nerissa are absolutely phenomenal. They are highly skilled, very professional, and the cleanliness of their shop can't be matched. I moved out of Tahoe years ago, and have been driving (and flying) back to get work done here, as no other place I've been to compares.

Huge thanks to Lake Monster for my recent tattoo they did. I had a cover up that I needed done and they were very understanding and compassionate. Greg was very kind and professional and was able to perfectly cover up a name that was haunting me and replace it with something dedicated to my children. Narissa is a doll and always has a sweet tone and smile on her face. This is my second tattoo with them and my 10+ piercing with them and they are ranked high above the rest. Reed is a true artist and my next one I will definitely get on the wait list for him.

My husband and I have been getting tattooed by Reed for over 1 1/2 years now. He is talented, creative, knowledgeable and friendly. He and his wife Nerissa (who does all the piercings and is also equally awesome) own the shop and have been there for over 15 years. They have become friends and we couldn’t be happier with all of the work we’ve had done. Greg also tattoos in this shop and does a great job as well. Reed and Greg do different styles so between the two of them, they really do cover a large amount of styles. Really can’t go wrong with either one for tattoo work. If you’re looking to get quality work done, this is the place to go! We get so many compliments on our tattoos and always tell our tattoo admirers about Lake Monster!

I’ve had 8 piercings done here and I’m going back asap. Always nice kind and professional. The piercer got to know me very quickly and was able to recommend jewelry that I love. Can’t wait to go back
