Studio City Tattoo Los Angeles Body Piercing

I was in town from Wisconsin, and wanted to get a sort of last minute tattoo before heading home. I was a walk in and was treated as if I had an appointment the whole time. My tattoo was very small and simple, yet I was treated as if I had a big detailed piece done. Becky was my artist, and she was affable, patient, and very professional. I felt super comfortable. The next time I'm in L.A., I plan on returning to get another piece done.

Everyone was pleasant and incredibly easy to work with at every turn. I brought a few broad ideas/loose inspiration to Jose and received an incredible piece of art that looks like it should have always been there. The shop is clean, professional, and fun; Jose is talented and made my first tattoo a great experience-I couldn't be happier.

When I decided I wanted to get a tattoo when I came to So Cal to visit my cousin I did my research and all roads led to Studio City. Excellent reviews, award winning, I said that is where I want to go. I call and make my appointment and when we arrived, I was impressed. I loved the decor and how clean it was. The guys were so nice and so professional. Duff did my piece and gave me an excellent deal on it. I was so pleased and impressed with the job he did and the service I received I have refused to get any more work done until I go back to Cali. See you guys in September! :)

Loved this place! Everyone is super nice and professional! Got my 2nd tattoo here last week and I cannot be happier. The shop is very clean. Emily was super informative and amazing! Definitely getting my next tattoo here.

I had a consult booked with Eli for a cover up. We had exchanged a few emails in the week leading up to the in-person consultation where we discussed basic things about the cover up (tattoo size, location, reference pictures, etc). In my email I mentioned the dimensions of my tattoo. I was booked to come in at 1040am on a Sunday - the shop opens at 11. I waited on the street for 40 minutes until Eli finally showed up and sat down with me. He was unprepared for our meeting, not even knowing my name or any of the details we already discussed over email. I felt this was unprofessional and disrespectful. Why ask me to come in person when he didn’t even read my emails? Why ask me to show up 20 mins before the shop opens when he’s not even there yet? And worst of all is the fact when the pictures I emailed him days ago finally loaded on his phone he took a quick look and said it’s not even a style he does! He could’ve told me that over email and saved me the trip. Absolute disregard for my time.

Great vibe, great decor, and AMAZING artists! This is a fantastic place to get a tattoo! The work is world class, and they are fast and reasonable (not cheap; a sign on the wall says it all: "A good tattoo is not cheap and a cheap tattoo is not good". This is SO very true, take if from the voice of experience). Really, if you're anywhere near Studio City Tattoo there's absolutely no reason to go anywhere else. I came all the way from Portland, OR to get mine!

Whenever someone asks where is a good place to get a tattoo or piercing I direct them to Studio City Tattoo. I've been here several times and have always had a great experience. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and very talented. They are artists. The shop is clean and all utensils are sterilized before use. Everyone I referred has been happy. I highly recommend.

I did a walk in and got my septum pierced on 10/30/19. The process from being talked to about what I wanted done and paying was about thirty minutes. The woman who pierced my septum was also very nice and made sure to ask if I had any additional questions both before and during the process. My biggest complaint is that before my septum had even been pierced for a full day, one of the beads on my jewelry came loose and fell off. I haven't had this happen before with the other piercings I have had so it's a bummer.

Overall, the shop is very unique in its decor style, sanitary, and affordable. Just be sure that your jewelry is tightened!

I highly recommend Studio City Tattoo and Body Piercing. The staff has been extremely nice and are very entertaining while I'm sitting in the chair. I love how they listen to my input and take it to another level with their creativity. Many thanks to Captain Dave for 3 lovely tattoos. I'll be seeing you again very soon! Wonderful shop!
