The Shop Tattoo & Comics

Ok, so let's start with the bad news first. I had to drive nearly 3 hours to this place in lil ol Alamosa, CO from Colorado Springs! That's it for the bad news 😂. I can say, without a doubt, that the drive is well worth it! For one, this is a Tattoo & a Comic shop!!!! How freaking cool is that!?!?

Anywho, they have a TON of comics both raw and graded. Lots of stuff on sale. Plenty of statues, figures, Funko pops and more to satisfy the most insatiable collector. Oh and lets not forget about how AWESOME the staff is ❤️👍!!! I had great conversations, and they were very helpful in helping me find what I was looking for. They even helped cut me a deal when I realized I was buying too much and had to put some of the stuff back, they cut the cost for me (I bought 96 comics 😬).

I have been to a lot of comic shops and I've seen some good ones and some bad ones. This is definitely one of the few great ones that I've been to! It's extra awesome that everyone nerds out to include the tattoo artists and you can talk shop about anything. Now I can't say how well the tattoo and piercing experience went since I did not get one, but by the looks of all the portfolios I would say it's a pretty darn good experience if you need to go get one lol.

You can count on me coming back. The only problem is I probably can only come once in a blue moon since it is way out there. But The trip is worth it if you live up north in Colorado Springs or in Denver.

Everyone is so friendly at the shop! My fiance is a collector of the figurines they have and it's nice that the workers recognize us everytime and help us out with our selection process. It's hard to find collectibles at a reasonable price and the shop does a good job 👏

This place is absolutely amazing! I got a double nostril piercing from Myka! She was so professional and made sure that the piercing was in exactly the right place. She talked to me the whole time and made sure I was ok. I’ve never had a better piercing experience and 100% will come back again for any other piercings!

I loved this place! The front lady Myka who also did my piercing was so nice and fun. She led me through the process so well and I felt super comfortable. She gave me great advice after on how to take care of my piercing as well. I would definitely go back here and I’ll be recommending it to my friends who also want piercings! The piercing looks so good too.

This is my favorite shop I’ve been to, Micah did a wonderful job on my vertical labret and septum, I haven’t had any problems. (Their piercing spray is amazing and works so well.) She was also very gentle when I came in a few weeks later to get it changed. The shop has a comfortable atmosphere

I love The Shop! Staff is always in such a positive and fun mood. Sometimes I stop in just to say hi and kill time even haha. I've gotten several tattoos from Zach, and I love every one. He takes the time to make sure I'm happy with what I'm getting, and executes it all so well! I'm very proud of the work I've had done in there. To top it all off, the funko and comics they sell are awesome! One of the funnest shops here in the valley and they'll treat you like a friend. Overall just a place I love to visit any chance I get! If you enjoy art, and tattoos, comics, toys, and collectibles, this is definitely the spot for you to check out. You won't be disappointed!

I came here while on vacation and noticed the $45 tattoo Fridays sign so I walked in and hoped it wasn’t too good to be true. And it was true. $45 for a small tattoo. They had a book of tattoos to choose from but asked if I had one in mind and I did so I sent it to them and they said they could do it no problem! So I got my little ghost tattoo on the back of my arm. The artist was great, gentle and very social-able. If I’m ever in town again I will absolutely be back!

Ive gotten all my tattoos done here since 2016. Unfortunately, the entitlement people get when they get too comfortable can cause them to lose long-term customers. Hopefully staff here starts to focus on the quality of the work and making the space comfortable for customers, rather than doing what they think is best to make the "best profit". Will not be going back.

Absolutely love this place! Myka coached me through my first facial piercing and made me feel so comfortable. I love the way it looks!! Fabulous shop, lovely folks!!
