Had my ear pierced by Benny D and he was fantastic! Service was fast, staff was friendly, and Benny was very knowledgeable about the industry. Will definitely return! Thanks!

My son got his ear pierced and the staff was great. We just had to wait a bit.

I got my first tattoo here and naively thought you could go to any tattoo shop and be happy with the results. First of all, the tattoo I got was on my hip, meaning I had to pull down my pants to get it done. The guy did not close the blinds to the shop when he told me he did, leaving my entire lower half exposed in front of the entire window for anyone to see as they walked by. As for the tattoo, he pressed too hard into my skin, making the tattoo blowout. Not to mention he was very rude to both me and my friend! Will NEVER COME HERE AGAIN!!

I went in to get my lobes redone as I thought they were closed. Mo Bowman was AMAZING and tapered them along with my nose back open and gave me jewelry changes. She also pierced my partners helix and was quick, professional and knowledgeable!!! I love this place.

I came in with an idea of what I wanted for ear piercings and Taphas was super patient and helpful with picking out the perfect jewelry. Jason was the piercer and I could not have asked for a more professional and calming person! Definitely the best experience I've had.

Went in to buy an earring last weekend. The male worker (long hair and really tall) was incredibly dismissive and rude. He only answered my questions with grunts and nods and then walked away while I was talking. If you are looking for a positive shopping/ piercing experience I would not recommend this tribal rights.
I will say tho the girl that was working was nice… so there’s that.

The shop receptionist was really rude. When I asked if I could get a hoop starter nose ring he said no and proceeded to make a comment how hoop rings are "lame". My piercing ended up getting 2 bubbles and never healed. When I came in to get it removed the piercer was really condescending about it. I emailed them to tell them all this as well as tell them I was overcharged and they only responded to the part about me being overcharged. Guess they don't care about all aspects of customer service.

Honestly this is the only piercing shop I feel comfortable going to and I trust them with anything they are super clean sanitized and professional. They are very honest and will let you know if they could actually pierce the piercing you want or not and help you with each decision. Taphas is amazing and friendly he was so helpful He talked us through everything explained each step.
I am such a scaredy-cat but honestly they hype you up in anyway they can and assure you that its fine. As Taphas once said. “ it won’t hurt as much as your ex”😂. Honestly the best support system you could need.

I've just been tattooed by Tommy and he was amazing! I was a little nervous since the tattoo was on my ribs, but he was super understanding asking how i felt and telling me to let him know if I need break. He asked questions to make sure i was getting exactly what i was looking for. the finished product couldn't be any better.. i love love love it. Everyone in this shop is very professional and friendly and the shop just SMELLS clean when you walk in which is awesome. I'd recommend this shop to anyone! GOOD WORK GUYS! :-)

EDIT: still haven't heard back after 4 different attempts.

not even bare minimum. My recent experiences with Tribal Rites have been unnecessarily negative and harsh for no reason. It used to be a local and reliable spot.

I would have objected had I actually seen the jewelry they were going to put in my nose. Had I have known it was a cheap corkscrew piece, I could have picked a different piece of jewelry.

When I brought the jewelry back that fell out, now in a ziploc bag, to get it repierced, their response was really unexpected and off putting. They claimed they were unable to repierce it. & not only that. the front desk person called me "disgusting" for bringing the jewelry back in the first place "since it had been in my body". I explained it would need to be sanitized before repiercing, and in reality I really wanted a different stud. The hole had closed already.

The piercer refused to even look at the piercing on my nose. I was trying to explain the hole had closed, and he said he wouldn't be able to tell unless he saw it. I asked him 3 times if I could show him and he was talking over me, saying he would have to see it in 3 months. I took down my mask to show him the hole was closed, he turned away and acted as if I was doing it on purpose as an anti-masker.

I am one of the most COVID conscious people I know, and I work in a very controlled Environment. I would have gladly gone to the back piercing area for him to look at it, there was no one else in the store, but this wasn't offered to me. I was actually turned away. I know people in the service industry have had a rough year, I'm one of them. I am a kind human and understanding customer. Lack of pay, staffing shortages, supply chain issues - COVID?? it's been a nightmare for businesses and workers everywhere. I am not that nightmare.

I'm confused. I thought I would be listened to, however slightly, and that someone would at least try to remedy the situation in the smallest way possible, which was to just repierce my now nonexistent nose piercing. Instead no one has listened, responded to direct messages, emails, or this review. It's disappointing to say the least. Not even bare minimum.

I've been waiting for a response from the general manager of this location for weeks - months now (edited) -
with no response. My friends and I used to strictly use this location of Tribal Rites on College Ave for 7 years now, after this experience I will be warning everyone I can to go somewhere else. I did in fact have to go somewhere else to get my nose repierced, and it was a completely different experience. I can't really trust this place again after how weird they treated me, and now never again after the lack of response from... anyone.
