Worst piercing service I have ever experienced. I went in for a simple change of my jewelry because every time I attempt to put in my nostril ring, I bend it incorrectly. I have had my nose piercing for over a year and it was completely healed. The piercer was aggressively trying to put in my jewelry, not slow and gentle in the slightest. It is now bleeding and extremely soar. The jewelry was the same gauge as the one I had in before that. What was supposed to be a simple switch, ended up in a backtrack of my piercing healing process.

I got a small tattoo with Tommy here about a year ago when he still worked here—it was a walk-in for a sort of cliché “roommate bonding” type of thing. He was super friendly and personable, and if you check out his Instagram you’ll see he has tons of artistic talent, but he didn’t look down on the small/simple tattoos we chose and made us feel really comfortable!

I tried to go back again recently, also a walk-in, but everyone was booked. I was sad not to be able to get soemthing new but everyone in the shop was still really friendly and the girl at the desk double checked with every artist and piercer to see if they could get us in, and directed us to the website for scheduling info before we left. I know walk-ins are always kinda dicey just because they’re so last minute, so I really appreciated the effort in trying to fit us in even though it just didn’t work out that day :)

Will definitely be back sometime soon!

Just got my third lobe piercings today. Jason did a quick, swift job, was practically painless (just normal puncturing-skin feeling) and clearly skilled. I was a little bit nervous and there was absolutely no reason to be. He was very calming and professional. I look forward to returning for more!

The people here are very rude, it’s like they don’t even want you there? I went in to buy a nose stud, I asked them to explain the difference between the studs and the guy just gave me an attitude. Also piercings are way overpriced, just because we’re college students doesn’t mean we all have a lot of money. Don’t go here at all!!!

I have been here a couple of times now and have been very unsatisfied with the service provided. The first time I came here, I got my nose pierced. The piercer pierced my nose crookedly and then took almost 10 minutes and multiple other needles to correct his mistake which was incredibly excruciating. Had I known that he was going to do such a simple piercing wrong, I would have gone elsewhere. The other times I have been here the piercer (different guy) was incredibly rude and short with me and my friends getting pierced. He acted as if we were burdening him by coming by to get pierced and paying him for it! I do not think I will be returning to this location simply because I do not feel comfortable with the way that the piercers act and the rushed piercings make me nervous that they will mess up. The only reason that I am slightly satisfied is because the guy who works at the front is very nice and helpful and has always given me all necessary information and answered all of my questions.

Getting a piercing in Boulder is tricky as a lot of places act like they are god's gift simply based on location. After a bad experience at a different shop, went here and was pierced by Jake. He had a great vibe, was quick, friendly, and made sure my piercing was in the right spot. Can't speak for other piercers there but he was great.

Tribal Rites is the only piercing establishment I go to. Sam is the best piercer I have ever had; he is confident and patient, always willing to help with placement decisions.

My industrial piercing was originally done at another shop, refused to heal, and I had to remove it. Sam was able to repierce it for me perfectly, and it has healed completely with no issues.

The shop is spotlessly clean, and the staff are always considerate and professional. The prices are right, and jewelry is always great quality.

This piercing shop is the only shop I recommend!

I had a great experience getting a nostril piercing here. Tyler was extremely pleasant and is really good at getting you talking about yourself to distract from what's going on. I love my piercing, and the high quality jewelry they recommended.

Walked right in and was pleasantly greeted by Jake & Jason. They were both very helpful with getting all my paperwork done. Nate fit me in before his first appointment and did an amazing job. There was not fruit involved in our encounter either. Thanks for a great experience guys! We'll be back!
