Clean Slate Tattoo & Body Piercing Studio

I very rarely write reviews, so when I do, it's because it is so very well deserved. I brought my eleven year old son here to get his ear lobes pierced. Jessica, the owner, and a piecer was absolutely wonderful. She was professional, knowledgeable and used sterile technique (one of the most important pieces to me). She made my son feel at ease, explained everything she was doing and took more time than she needed to in order to engage with both him and me. We had this experience this morning, so time will tell on how the healing goes. However, should we have any issues at all, she encouraged us to call her directly, email her directly or come to see her. Her continued dedication to best practices was so incredibly appreciated and valued by me as a consumer. I would and will refer friends and family to her and Clean Slate Tattoo. In addition, the staff, from my initial phone call to our interactions with them while we waited was also quite lovely. They were polite, funny and real people. Hats off to Clean Slate Tattoo, Jessica and the staff.

I’ve gone to a few different tattoo & piercing shops and Clean Slate is BY FAR the best experience I’ve ever had. I had my nose pierced elsewhere and the piercing constantly hung out of my nose and was super uncomfortable. I saw Jessica and Kali and they not only saved my piercing, but put in the hoop I’ve always wanted and made sure it was adjusted perfectly for my nose shape. Jessica was so knowledgeable and I instantly felt in good hands. Kali is so welcoming, friendly and was super gentle changing my jewelry which is so important with a sensitive piercing. 10/10 would recommend. I am definitely going back!

Me and my boyfriend got our ears pierced at Clean Slate. Jesica and Delaney did an amazing job and were so friendly! Place was spotless. It was a little pricey. $288 total for each of us to have our ear lobes pierced and jewelry plus two bottles of saline spray. Bottom line is.... it was worth it and I would go back.

Everybody was extremely nice and attentive, and very professional. While she was piercing she was very clean and helpful and made the experience 10x better. I highly recommend if your getting piercings you go there, my new go to!

I took my 8 year old daughter to get her ears pierced last week and it was such a great experience! I called ahead to make sure they took minors and Jessica was so friendly and welcoming; I knew I had called the right place. Everywhere else we called that day was SO RUDE when I asked about ear piercing a child.

We walked in and even with their tattoo patron in the shop, they immediately changed the music to Disney and my daughter felt totally comfortable. Warm, clean, and comfy space, by the way. I'm not a tattoo junkie, but it's a great environment if you're looking for a place.

Jessica did an amazing job at keeping my anxious little girl calm during her piercing. To make things even easier, she and Derrick pierced both her ears at the same time! Quick and easy! She went over all the necessary education with my daughter for caring for her new piercings.

100% recommended Clean Slate. If I ever decide to get another piercing, I'll be going here.

Jes and her piercing team are amazing! They will provide suggestions about what looks good and will advise you on the pros and cons of any piercing before they do it to make sure the customer is fully informed.

There are a lot of great tattoo artists in the Denver area - I've been to a lot of shops, both in and out of state. Clean Slate is, by far, the nicest studio I've been to - on many levels. It's clean, all the artists are friendly and knowledgeable, the artwork is amazing, and the pricing is extremely competitive. Van and Jessica run an amazing place - Van's art is beyond impressive, and Jessica makes everyone feel welcome and at home. Josh, David, and Mark are insanely awesome - the level of talent in that one shop is indescribable. Each of the guys works hard to build trust with their clients. This is the only tattoo studio I will go to - anywhere else seems sub-par, almost "flat" now. Definitely not in the same class. I can't recommend Clean Slate Tattoo highly enough. I would encourage my friends and family to have work done there, as I don't think you will get the same high quality tattooing done anywhere else. I guarantee you won't find better prices. I used to think it didn't really matter where you got a tat done...now I know the difference between a run of the mill piece and one that comes to life and dazzles. I can't wait to go back for another!
