Hot Rod Tattoos and Body Piercing

Visiting from California, got my nose pierced and it was an amazing experience. I’ve had many piercings from other places but the guys working here are so friendly and welcoming. Talked through the piercing and made me feel comfortable and not nervous at all. 10/10 would 100% come back for more when I visit. Maybe tattoo next 👀

Had gotten a septum piercing here and it was terrible. The piercing wasn’t straight at all. The man that did it was not friendly or welcoming. I had it done about a year ago and took it out soon after. I’m writing this now because I went to go get my septum repierced by my normal person and she mentioned when trying to pierce my septum the needle kept trying to go into the old hole and it was crooked and didn’t line up. Due to the scar tissue I couldn’t get my septum repierced. Don’t go here… go to someone that knows what they are doing and is nice about everything.

Very professional, clean and quick. We got a helix and two belly button piercings and each one was very easy. Patrick was great!

I have very mixed feeling about this shop. I went in a few days ago to get my lip pierced. At first I absolutely loved my piercing, very quickly my lip went completely numb. I had consulted with another shop today and he immediately asked me to take it out. He informed me that it was not pierced in the correct spot and was crooked. It was very red and irritated even with cleaning it as recommended. There was a few comments while joking with his apprentice about him wanting to stab some guy in the eye. I do not believe that he checked my paperwork to see if I was allergic to anything (I am not) but it does seem like a safety concern if someone was and it did not get checked.

I seriously could not be happier with the work I had done by Devin! He is amazing! Not only did he make me feel super comfortable and work with me on the designs, he did an amazing job and was even open to me making a couple very small changes that turned out beautifully. I had no idea that tattoos weren't always supposed to be soo unbearably painful. Wish I would have found this shop and him before sooner. Would have saved myself a ton of pain, time and money.

One tat was a cover up of a memorial tat I had done after my dad passed. I thought it was pretty much beyond repair or even a cover up and he covered it so well and it's so beautiful that I can't wait to show it off any chance I get. The other was a tiny cover up that I also wanted a lot more added to. Again he completely blew me away with how beautiful it is and how amazing he is to work with. It took me 4 years to get up the courage to get these tats fixed and I couldn't have asked for anyone better than Devin. The pics do NOT do them justice!

Got my septum pierced and it was completely painless. I was in and out within 10 minutes. Would definitely recommend. I have never had a professional piercing and I will be going back after this one heals. The walk in option is wonderful seeing as most places make you have appointments. Thanks again

Patrick was incredibly supportive with all my piercing needs despite the fact I never even got my originals done at Hot Rod tattoo. I reccomend this place to everyone I can. I am so grateful for his help

I have been tattooed by Patrick and Devin they were both amazing and I love all the tattoos I've gotten by them. Their black and grey work is amazing. They make the experience so fun and they are amazing to work with. They turned all my ideas into something even better than I expected. My tattoos still look amazing and they all healed really well. I even had a tattoo from another shop that I wanted to add onto, and Patrick fixed the tattoo I already had and added on beautiful work to it and I love it now. I recommend both Devin and Patrick. Devin even touched up a tattoo they had done for me a year and a half later for free. (It was on my foot where it bends. It faded because of placement not because of their work. I asked for that placement too). Highly recommend! I have four tattoos from this shop and was never disappointed. And besides the tattoo Patrick fixed, they're all from this shop. They're amazing. If you have ideas but not an exact design, they will turn your ideas into amazing tattoos. Very creative, and great environment.planning on coming back when I move back from Hawaii

The piercing turned out amazing. The only problem was the person who did it. He was super super rude which is super unprofessional. Me and my family were told to shut up and got attitude thrown at us. But other than that I recommend.
