What is there to say about Crimson Hilt...other than the best tattoo shop in the country! From the time you step foot through the threshold, to the time you leave...absolutely outstanding customer relationships and a very comfortable family feeling. The cleanliness of the shop is immaculate and ensures quality work despite how amazing all the artists are. The environment is very inviting, relaxed and again very clean with awesome vibes. I’ve been to multiple tattoo shops from East coast to West coast and found a home at Crimson Hilt! Alex Taylor is a sevant with a tattoo machine! From the start Alex ensures comfort, and is happy to help with any design or dream you have built up to get tattooed. I’ve spent over 40 hours with Alex getting tattooed and have never felt so at ease and happy with the work he has done for me. He is very easy to speak with and explains everything in a fashion that I can understand, and not feel stupid asking questions. Alex and the other artists here are very knowledgeable and happy to answer any question you have on tattoos. I highly recommend Alex Taylor he is a top dog in the tattoo world and can’t wait to see him again. I’ve also seen Moeh Haywood and again the mans art work is something I’ll tell my grandkids about. Just like Alex he is committed and dedicated to the art and has a passion for the work he does. I’m beyond proud over the work Moeh has gifted me with and can’t praise his work enough. To wrap this review up Crimson Hilt is the best shop in the country! Alex and Moeh are absolutely sensational artists and can’t wait to get more work done by both of them. Truly amazing experience. Alex is the ultimate collaborator. He knew exactly what I wanted to achieve and developed a one-of-a-kind design.
He was in tune with what I wanted, how to execute a spectacular tattoo in a shop with a great vibe. The end result is exactly what I wanted but not what I could have ever envisioned!

Moe did my rib cage tattoo and he was kind, understanding, funny and most of all a very good person. I felt at home here and this was BY FAR the best tattoo experience I have ever had. Also I got some art advice "practice your S's and O's" which has made me a better artist. This is THE only place I will get ink done. Great people, great music, amazing art work and they treat everyone like family. If you're reading this and need some ink look no further and just make an appointment. You might regret letting your girlfriend move in, but you'll never regret getting tattooed here.

Alex Taylor recently touched up a tattoo he did for me three years ago. Back then I had checked out several other parlors, running design ideas (for my first tattoo) by each of them. But Alex (at what was then called Newspeak Tattoo) was the only one who got excited about helping me get what I wanted. He took my idea and ran with it, designing and executing a custom tattoo that fits my shoulder nicely, and that's inspired a number of compliments. Alex is friendly, conscientious, and enthusiastic about doing the best job he can.

I love this shop and the incredible artists that create here! Clean, good vibes, amazing people. I have been going to Alex Taylor for 5 years. He is very talented, professional, and a creative genius!! I had been to a couple other shops prior to, and he has won me over!!! Thanks guys!!!!

James covered up a really ugly black and gray tattoo on my left arm, and did a half sleeve—and he also did a rose inside my right arm (also a coverup) and I could not be happier! I was ashamed to show my arms for YEARS because of the ugly tattoos I got when I was younger, and James covered everything brilliantly and without a trace of the originals. I have yet another appointment booked with James and am counting down the minutes (one day he will have covered all of my ugly tattoos and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to do it).

I’ve gotten tattooed here multiple times by James dean. He’s a great artist and I’ve gotten many tattoos from him! Super professional as well. Definitely recommend getting some work from him.

Crimson hill is one of the best tattoo shops I've ever been to. I've been going there for the past 10 years since I've moved to Denver. Moeh and Alex Are stand up awesome dudes. Great owners . You won't be disappointed when you go to the shop

Went for Friday the 13th tattoos and boy was this place clean, quick and chalk full of very talented tattoo artists. Can't wait to come back for a larger piece. Friendly helpful staff, great seating for waiting and lots of awesome flash sheets options for a Friday the 13th tattoo
