James Pruitt took my boring ol arm and made it a dream. He is a phenomenal artist, and a wonderful person who always makes me feel comfortable and welcome. His art is entirely original, and perfectly fits my body. At least once a week I have somebody stop me to ask if my arm is “done by jdpruitt”!!! I’ve returned to him time and time again, and have referred him many of my friends.

I've gotten two tattoos here. The first was a walk in and all I had was an idea. It was half a cover up half an addition to a current tat. Moeh took my idea and made it perfect. I love that tattoo. Moeh was easy to talk to, a pleasure to be around and made the whole experience awesome.
However, the second time I went in, I saw a different artist after I told Moeh I wanted a more geometric tattoo and he recommended his coworker (I'm sorry, I don't remember his name, I think maybe Charlie?). I feel bad for leaving this review because it's been weeks since I got it, but I think my story should be heard.
He refused to have a conversation with me and it made getting the tattoo a lot more difficult and awkward. I felt ignored, and it seemed like I was bothering him by being there. On top of that, when I showed him my design (that I drew myself) he drew up his own design. It was a little more complex than my drawing but I liked the way the stencil looked so I said okay.
What I wasn't okay with, was how he colored it and filled it in without asking me. I wanted a black outline rose with a *tiny* amount of color. He filled in the entire thing black, changed how I wanted my coloring done and even added colors without asking me. He changed the design of what I requested and now I have a tattoo I don't like. I have been trying to like it, but I've gotten to a point I am considering having it covered up because it's not what I wanted. I never complained about it directly to them but it's worth sharing.
Alex and Moeh are amazing. I highly recommend them. But I can't recommend the other guy.

I got my very first tatoo here. I wasn't sure what to expect or how I even felt about getting one to begin with. The vibes here are awesome, the tatoo artist that did mine, Camille was patient and dedictated(I'm not a very still person). Not only that, she helped translate an idea I had on mind into a tattoo beautifully. I get lots of compliments on it. Overall, I'd say out of all the shops one could choose in Denver Area, this is one of the best, price wise, especially for a raw vintage ink.
