I’ve had the best tattoo experience at dead drift twice now. Galen is very gentle, polite, and so talented. The rest of the artists there seem really nice and are always complimentary of each others work. I definitely recommend booking with this shop if you’re in the market for some good tattoos in a good shop environment.

Had an appointment with Jim and wanted tattoo that went into my hand. I said all this info over the phone and then was refused service at time of appointment all because I didn’t have a full sleeve and couldn’t hide the hand tattoo once I got it. I’m an ER nurse of 5 years. No one cares especially now whether I have tattoos. He didn’t ask my job or anything. Pretty bummed. Went to another shop and had no trouble.

Amazing artists, super clean. Every one was awesome. Im going back for color on mine, the artist I choose was super understanding that I might need to come back and was flexible with appointments too! Seriously worth it. The artist is Johnny, probly spell it wrong! He did an amazing job!

Matt Hamlet was unprepared and hard to work with, I honestly wouldn’t go back.
I had sent the details of what I was going to have done to him two weeks prior to our appointment, however on the day of the appointment he needed the pictures again and had not even looked at what I sent him.
then when drawing the tattoo, he stated that he couldn't do detail on one part of the tattoo which wasn't very small at all and wouldn't use a smaller needle.
Lastly he was just a hard person to talk to.

FANTASTIC. I was a walk in and it was my first tattoo and Dan totally relaxed me and helped me figure out the best location for it. I'm so so so happy with it and so grateful I went to Dead Drift! I'll definitely be back:)

AJ and the Dead Drift team are awesome! This is a very professional, friendly, clean shop. AJ nailed it by quickly honing in on what I was looking for and helped me through the best placement options. End result was perfect. Super high quality work that I’m getting tons of comments on…specifically how clean and detailed everything looks.
Put it this way…I have to fly in from out of state to see these guys. And the experience is so great I’m already looking at the next trip for more!

I cannot speak highly enough about Dead Drift Tattoo. AJ did a coverup for me a few years ago. I can honestly say he’s is one of my favorite artist to work with, which is why I keep returning. He’s friendly, considerate, genuine, and professional, which are all good qualities for a shop owner. All of his pieces are hand drawn, the colors he uses are vibrant, and he works in multiple styles. He places high expectations on himself as well as the other artists at the shop. The shop atmosphere is hygienic yet comfortable. The artists in the shop are all very supportive of one another, and I think it is reflected in the beautiful work that comes out of the shop. I’ve recently started getting pieces done by Cat too, and I can honestly say that she’s amazing too. Makes sense considering she apprenticed under AJ. Love this place ❤️

My artist was Galen! Absolutely adore her. All the artists at this shop are fun, friendly, and super professional. Not to mention how insanely cool their work always looks! I look forward to coming back after each session I have. I travel an hour+ to go to this shop and it’s WORTH IT!

I wondered into this shop wanting to check cleanliness of the shop and the vibe I got before I got my very first tattoo. Dan and Johnny greeted me at the door, both very nice guys and I described to Dan what I was looking for in my first tattoo and he nailed it! I can also add he was very assuring and professional during the whole process (I was very nervous). The tattoo looks perfect with clean lines and he made sure I knew how to take care of it after he was finished. I couldn't have had a better first time experience. Would recommend this shop to anyone whether it's your first tattoo or your 100th tattoo.
