World Tattoo Studio

My friend and I did a walk-in with Emil on a Sunday afternoon. He was amazing and I absolutely enjoyed getting my first tattoo done by him! Also excellent customer service when we called. They made us feel comfortable :) the vibes were great.

I have had an idea for my first tattoo for about 3 years. Every time I accompanied a friend to a studio, I thought about getting my own, but it never felt right.

That changed when I went into World Tattoo Studio with a friend - thinking I was just going for support - but suddenly I felt the timing was right: the combination of the calming incense, the Buddha statues, the cool and confident demeanor of the artists, I finally felt ready.

Amel helped instill in me the proper readiness I needed to get my first ink, and I’m truly thrilled with how it came out. Awesome, wonderful studio. Will probably be back because, well, these things are apparently addicting.

Amy Shapiro is a spectacular artist and great person to spend a few hours with. The studio is a clean, comfortable, and cozy space with plenty of privacy. All of the artists are kind and accommodating.

Can’t rave about this place enough! I came in for a walk-in tattoo (wasn’t a small request) and Ian went above and beyond to make it happen for me. I gave him some rough specifications on what I had envisioned for my tattoo and he took it to the next level-What Ian curated for me was something I could of never imagined. I am so beyond grateful for his talent and flexibility.

Also, the studio was extremely clean, welcoming, and comfortable….I should add that prior to getting my work done I was given full transparency on pricing and Ian worked around my budget (wish more shops alleviated that anxiety). Anyways, thank you Ian and Emil, you guys are incredible!

Everyone at World Tattoo was really friendly and had a great vibe. Matt really took the time to listen to my concept. Then he was able to turn it into an incredible and colourful work of art. All the yeses!

I came from out of town. We went in as a walk-in and they were so understanding. Emil Ortho was the guy that did both my tattoo and my moms. It was our first tattoo. He was very friendly and gave a brief explanation of how tattoos work. The place is really nice, clean, and professional looking. I would recommend him to about anyone

Would not respond to my messages. Responded once and that was it. I paid him a deposit, so I’m pretty much out $150+ Might be a good tattoo artist but communication is terrible.

I have gotten three tattoos from Emil. Not only is he a phenomenal artist but he is incredibly easy to work with and wants your vision to come through. As a woman it’s hard to find a tattoo studio where you’re 100% comfortable, but world tattoo is that place for me. I won’t be getting work done anywhere else.

My first tattoo and my friend referred here. Painless Al was great in accommodating my request. I was researching a good abstract design from a very long time. He did add his expertise and was very helpful with the overall process. One more appointment to go.

I moved to Denver in September and was searching so hard to find a great tattoo shop that I could rely on for consistent quality work. I met Amy Shapiro at World through mutual friends and scheduled a consultation and we hit it off instantly. Amy has the incredible ability to interpret and express your ideas and suggestions in a creative and beautiful way and is so receptive to feedback and new ideas. It’s gotten to the point where I trust Amy so much I’ve gone into sessions without any real idea of what we’re doing to fill a space but know it’s gonna be good. We’ve been having appointments since February and I’ve gotten an entire sleeve done with absolutely no regrets. Soft hands, clean lines, the recognition to tailor tattoos to the space they are in and an absolute pleasure to be tattooed by. Although I’m incredibly partial to Amy through the tattooing experience I’ve seen the work done by Al, Matt, and Ian as well as the rest of the staff and can say without a doubt that working with an artist at World Tattoo is a unique tailored and comfortable experience for anyone.

I’ll go on to add that I was one of Worlds first customers after their covid reopening. I was a little nervous at first to get a tattoo especially with the health crisis but World has put all of my worries to rest. Stations were already cleaned and properly sanitized by staff members but they’ve implemented so many procedures to make tattooing feel more safe. Masks are strictly enforced and rooms are limited to the artist and the canvas only. If there is a tattooer within a close proximity I was even given the opportunity to reschedule to a later date where I would be the only one in that room.

Don’t hesitate to trust anyone here with your ideas, health, ink, and money. This is truly the best tattoo shop in Denver!
