Some people may view tattoos as a spur-of-the-moment sort of thing, but I am not one of them. I hemmed and hawed and stressed and second-guessed every single idea I had come up with for years about adding another piece to my body. I had dozens of ideas in my head, all intertwined and making just too much noise to be able to explain what I saw in my head.
It is stressful to me, nothing less.
Billy saved the day. I’ve been lucky enough to know him for awhile now, but had only recently seriously approached him to work on a piece. He set aside time that worked for me to come into the shop and check the space out, and bounce some ideas off of him. He patiently waited while I spouted off an incoherent string of what I thought was nonsense, wordlessly picked up a piece of paper, and quietly sketched out the beginnings of what I wanted.
He assured me he understood what I wanted, though i honestly have no idea how he thought so. I left and waited. A couple days later, he sent me a message with something that was ever-so-close to what I had in my mind. We went back and forth over a couple days and finally he sent me a finished product that blew me away. I couldn’t believe it; he obviously had to have somehow mind-melded with me.
We set an appointment for a few weeks later, and when I showed up, felt right at home. The anxiousness and nerves were still there of course, but I felt GOOD about what was going to happen. Their shop is impeccably clean, warm & inviting, and obviously a purely-professional spot. No mess laying around, no needles sitting out, no paint or ink spilled, nothing. If I didn’t know better, I would have thought I was their first customer ever in that space.
A few hours later, my piece was complete!
I seriously cannot say anything else here; everything is a 5 outta 5, A+, multiple stars experience here. Billy made sure I was happy in every single step of the journey, from idea to checking out the mirror with a freshly-done tattoo and everything in between.
I am a worrywart to the max, and I felt as comfortable as ever here, and am excited to come back again soon.

Billy took an old spur of the moment regretful tattoo drawn up by an equally regretful old spur of the moment boyfriend... and made me forget that embarassing piece because all I see is pure art, now.
