I got my toes tattooed with little tribal symbols and the guy that did my toe’s, absolutely butchered them..Went way too deep and bled the ink out. It’s been a couple years but I have to now get them removed since he did such a terrible job. Everything just blends together, Borderline trailer trash tats.

I recently had a tattoo done by Eric. Montrose is lucky to have him. He is very knowledgeable and his experience shows. He is comfortable, but confident. His goal is to make the tattoo better than the client’s expectations and he did not disappoint. I love my new artwork - better than I expected, which was Eric’s goal.
I do wish the rest of the shop would follow state laws by wearing a mask during the pandemic.

These guys are great! Mike did my wife's tattoo a couple years ago and I had Phil do mine the other day, they both came out beautiful. Her color has held up so much better than the ones we had done up in Junction about five years ago and mine was so faded but Phil gave it new life and so much more design and character while adding to it. These guys are both artists, don't hesitate to have these guys put some ink on you.

Phil really knows what he’s doing, and makes you feel comfortable through the entire process. He has a really versatile skill set and can blend styles and ideas to give you something unique that you feel you really own. I got my first tattoo here and he was awesome to work with. He listened to my ideas, helped educate me so that I got something I’d be happy with, and he really brought it to life. Yes, you have to schedule an appointment, yes you have to go in ahead of time to go over the concept at the artwork, but it’s worth it. Trust the process! You’ll be way happier that way! Fancy Rooster is the way to go.

I guess this place is pretty good. My extremely basic and small script lettering healed up exceptionally well. He "fit me in" before they closed. All three (hahaha) tattoo "artists" I've felt with have been arrogant. No exceptions here.

Absolutely loved how this shop handled covid and our safety. We’re from out of town and they were able to help us out and get us in. Eric tattooed 3 of us and they all turned out fabulous plus the conversation was very entertaining. If I’m in the market for a tattoo in CO again, I’m definitely coming back here. 😊
