Sacred Body Tattoo

Sacred Body is the cleanest, most professional, and "mature" tattoo shop I have ever stepped into!! I have had nothing short of amazing experiences with Mickey as my tattoo artist. He is a true professional; very organized; well versed in culture, art, disease control and prevention, human anatomy, and in other miscellaneous art history/biology/medical history subjects. Mickey is kind and compassionate, and takes pride in his work! He is the only artist I have ever had who has paid attention to my body language and reminded me to breathe and relax and offered to help me change positions so that my tattoos were a more pleasurable experience!

Mickey doesn't just slap a tattoo onto your skin...he researches his subject matter and helps his customers choose an appropriate location on their body, adjust the size and colors, and if he doesn't think the idea or picture will make a good tattoo he shares his opinion with the client and helps them design a beautiful work of art-while still keeping all the important elements....I've never met an unsatisfied client!

Mickey was recommended to me by several people, I took their advice and went to him and will never have another set of hands set ink into my skin again! I tell everyone about Sacred Body and all those who have taken my advice and gone there for tattoos are repeat customers and also recommend him to anyone interested in tattoos!

Love this place. Was a little hard to get an appointment set up, but once I was able to go in, it was quick, easy, and everyone was really nice. I LOVED the way the inside of the shop felt and looked. The devote was definitely something I want in my own home. The artist was kind and friendly. Had a great experience.

My wife partially ripped out her dermal piercing, the guys here were able to squeeze us in with 5-10 minutes notice. Appreciate the service a massive amount.

Everyone here made me feel so at ease getting my first tattoo but Rhea was something else. She made me feel comfortable and did an INCREDIBLE job on a design that means a lot to me. It’s more perfect than I could have asked for and can’t say enough about her. Thank you!

I've been to this shop for multiple piercings and tattoos, and gone along with friends for THEIR piercings and tattoos as well. It's an awesome, clean, safe environment with friendly staff who go above and beyond to make sure you're happy with your results. They have an amazing selection of jewelry and everything is reasonably priced and great quality. All of my tattoos look as bright and new as the week I got them. I get compliments on my tattoos everywhere I go thanks to the amazing artists at Sacred Body! I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to get a new tattoo!

I made an appointment with the owner in person to get my tattoo done by him, and I told him I would send him reference pictures via email of what I wanted. Afterwards, I sent him images of the type of thing I was looking for and asked if he could sketch something up that was similar. I got no response, so I sent a follow up email making sure he got my messages. Again, no response. My appointment arrived and I showed up to the shop and the owner was completely unprepared, he said he didn't check his email much (which is kinda silly to not check your email much as a business owner) and that he would have to sketch something up now, and it would take a little while. I didn't want to wait and expressed my disappointment to them and decided to leave. A few days later a friend of mine needed to finish his ink (my friend is also friends with the owner and gets his ink done by him). My friend asked if the owner had done my tattoo because he knew I was supposed to get it done a couple days earlier. My friend told me that the owner responded that I chickened out and that he was annoyed at me for messing up his schedule. I would never recommend this shop to anyone as they treated me with a lack of respect and professionalism. I went to paper city tattoo a little while later and got an awesome tattoo from them instead.

I’ve known the owner, Mickey, for over 10 years. I send all my family and friends to him for top notch tattoos and piercings. He’s an awesome artist and a great guy. He’s extremely professional and has a warm and humorous demeanor, making any experience comfortable.

Giving this place at least more than one star because I’ve never been but I just looked up a place to get my nose pierced and this was the first place that came up with a five star review. I don’t ever go into places without checking the reviews and I can honestly say I will probably never go here or recommend this place SOLELY based off of the responses. Feel free to tear me a part like you did all the other reviews, just wanted to share my opinion. Check out the comments people before you go in, a shop isn’t just its talent it’s its people and I can’t imagine trusting someone who could speak the way you do to people as the OWNER.

Very unprofessional place dealing with rhea Blais . Don’t appreciate waiting over an hour for an appointment I had set weeks ago. If you were running late and wanted to reschedule don’t have me waiting over an hour in the parking lot and it would of been professional to call hours ahead to reschedule. Then to give your customer attitude and try to turn the table on me for being impatient waiting for over an hour on a hot day in the parking lot is messed up . I thought with all the good reviews this would be a good spot to get a tattoo but I was wrong . I won’t recommend any of my friends to come here and I will share this on all my social media accounts. And btw I went down the street and got a tattoo that looks dam good for half the price she was asking ! You wasted my time and I drove 1 hour and half to be there at the shop for 4pm my set appointment time and I left without a tattoo at 5:20pm Waiting to be seen that never happened. ZERO stars from me .

In the 11 years that I've been getting tattooed, I've had 7 different artists tattoo me. I can honestly say that Mickey Scalzo, the owner and main tattoo artist at Sacred Body is hands down the best one I've ever gone to and I will not get tattooed by anyone else. His color work is spectacular. His line work is impeccable and everything he does is custom. He is really laid back and personable and he gets you so excited to get a tattoo just through his own enthusiasm and positivity. His shop is extrememly clean and his prices very fair. I don't know who these people are who are bad mouthing him and his shop but they clearly have never set foot in it or have ever met him and seen his work. I highly recommend Sacred Body to anyone looking for great work at moderate prices in a comfortable setting. 5 stars.
