My experience at Ride The Needle..was great! I had a very old tattoo, the tattoo artist, Jay did a fantastic job covering it! I'll be going back for some more work! Fair price as well.

I went here for my first piercing ever. My nose. It was pierced with a needle that was gauged waaaayyy bigger than what it was supposed to be. Got infected, even with really great care & rejected. I’m left with a blueish/green dot on my nose that hasn’t gone away. It’s been years... I figured I’d give them another shot, and got my VCH pierced. It the jewelry is supposed to be small, since it’s such a thin piece of skin. I was pierced with an eyebrow ring. WAY too long, so it ended up literally slipping out a few days later. Money down the drain. I thought to give them another shot, with a tattoo this time... I printed my cats paw onto a piece of paper with ink, and gave it to my artist. The paw print looks NOTHING like it’s original, and the work was sloppy. I went here one last time to get my snake eyes (horizontal tongue ring) aside from the fact it was pierced with a nipple ring, which is way too small of a bar to allow proper healing anyway, I AM NOT EXAGGERATING WHEN I SAY IT WAS SO CROOKED PEOPLE NOTICED RIGHT AWAY. It came out slanted. And I was so beyond upset. He didn’t even have me rinse my mouth out before nor after with a solution. Unsanitary! Especially with a mouth piercing. The balls were not tightened nearly enough, so about a week later, one came off and I ended up swallowing it, then the bar slipped out. Piercing healed right away before I could even buy more jewelry. I am so beyond disappointed in everything I’ve gotten done at this place. I will never return here and I suggest you don’t either! All my work was done by Trevor. If I figure out how to include photos, I’ll post a picture of my tongue ring, and that should be convincing enough.

Well I’ve been here since I was 16. And I have always loved the vibes and people that work their I can almost say I’ve gotten 6 piercings since I found out about this place and they are super clean! And yeah only have good things to say about them 🤗

So I had arranged to get a tattoo with trev a few weeks in advance and texted him three times over a span of weeks asking for a sketch and price range and I was ether left on open or told he’d do so later but never did🤣 the morning of the appointment he said we needed to reschedule . I gave a two just cause I never even went and I’m assuming not every artist does the same 🤣 anyways I ended up going to Xclusive Ink Tattoo in East Hartford and got me in ASAP , had a great environment ,and did an impeccable job so I highly recommend all those looking for a good tattoo place to go there ! And ask for Jp he’s the best 😌💯

I love Ride The Needle! When I went there, everyone was positive and fun to be around. And Jai, the man who pierced my nose, was very helpful and did an awesome job! Also... some places won't pierce certain places on you if your under 16..even with a parents permission. Well Ride The Needle will do anything for you, with you parents permission. So I definetely recommend this place to everyone!!! :)

We made an appointment today for 6:30 to get a piercing, when we arrived at 6:20, the shop was closed. There was no communication and when we called they picked up the phone and hung up.
