Jon and his crew are professional and down to earth. Amazing artists who made me feel comfortable and helped me enjoy the tattoo experience. Very reasonable rates as well. Had to attach some pics of my favorite art in the shop too.

My fiancé and I both got our first tattoos from Jon recently. To start, the shop is extremely welcoming and clean. Everyone was so friendly and easy going! Jon was great to work with and he did such an amazing job. Listened to exactly what we both wanted and his attention to detail is unmatchable. We couldn't be more happy with how our tattoos came out and highly, highly recommend this shop & Jon. If you're questioning it, this is your sign to book it! You won't regret it :)

The owner, Jon, did a few of my tattoos here & I won’t be going anywhere else! He is extremely talented and passionate about his work. He is very accommodating with scheduling and does an amazing job at designing exactly what I wanted. He made me very comfortable during both of my sessions & I can’t wait to go back for more! Came in for their v-day flash sale, wanted to change up one of the tattoos on the list and they were very accommodating! Owen did my rose and Matt did my sisters, we couldn’t be happier not only w/ our tattoos but the whole experience. Super friendly staff and overall chill environment.

Eva, one of their newest artists, was amazing! Her first realism piece came out exceptional, and the owner, Jon, would periodically check in and give her advice. Can’t wait to come back in the future for more!

They squeezed us in with very short notice. My husband and I knew what we wanted but our artist/ the owner gave great suggestions on how to make it look even better. Very short interaction but they were so kind, helpful and accommodating.

I Visited Empire Tattoo a about a week ago and it was such a smooth sailing process!The owner Jonathan as well as the other artist in the shop are super friendly and willing to work with whatever it is you want done. The atmosphere as well is top notch!! Just an overall great shop and my tattoo that was done by Jon is exactly how I wanted it and healed flawlessly. Thank you Empire, and thank you Jon. The vibe is awesome and I can’t tell you how amazing Morgan is. She’s done 10 of my tattoos (I have another apt scheduled with her coming up!) and helped me with everything from planning to placement. Never gets mad or upset when I want to make changes or placement changes. You won’t find a more talented artist than her.

Out of all the tattoos shops to go to in CT, go here! I love this place so much! All of the artists are insanely talented and extremely kind. I have worked with Morgan, who did a beautiful luna moth on my back, and Matt who has done 4 of my tattoos and counting! A deathmoth on my throat, a bat on the side of my neck, a spiderweb on my elbow (soon to be colored ;)) and a gingerbread man on my leg. I will continue to come here and support them, as they deserve it. I have only ever been treated with kindness by all of the artists. No matter what you are looking to get, they will take care of you. All of them have a unique art style that fits their personalities. I can assure you that you will walk out with a smile and be 100% satisfied with your tattoos from here. They have tons of flash to look at and are very affordable. Professional, clean, passionate, caring, overall sweethearts, all of them.

So, I got a tattoo with my girlfriend from Matt two weeks ago. We were super excited because I had heard so many good things about the place! The tattoos came out pretty nice and healed perfectly fine, but we will not be going back to him — here is why. He was extremely snippy and judgmental the entire time — he spent almost the entire time making snarky comments and treating us like we did not know what was going on at all. Then, to top it all off, we noticed he is having a spring flash sale — a flash sale with both of our abstract flowers on there. These abstract flowers are part of 4 album covers that have very distinct flowers. He showed no recognition of knowing the albums and later, only included 2 (our designs) out of the four in the flash sale. He made no attempt to ask us if this would be okay and we only found out through their Instagram. We can’t talk about the rest of the place but Matt is not professional at all. He will use your designs, charge less for them during these flash sales and never get your permission to do so. Connecticut is filled with great tattoo artists, I’d find somewhere else to go.
