Got my nose pierced by Kelly- excellent experience. Extremely responsive with scheduling, very thorough and caring through piercing process and explaining how to best care for the piercing afterwards. Even tightens jewelery later if needed ! Would definitely recommend and go back in the future !

I want to make it super clear that this shop is very clean and has lovely vibes. 🌞 Kelly was also very sweet and made sure I was comfortable so because of these two reasons I give 2 stars. Unfortunately I had an incredibly not fun piercing experience with my septum and did not end up even getting the piercing as the wrong spot was pierced and she could not get the jewelry through and tried to force it. I got crazy light headed and nearly passed out from the pain and seeing the blood all over my nose in the mirror in front of me. This was on 12/15/21. I do have scabs on my septum and it is still healing and I do plan to go try again at another place once I am fully healed. Again great vibes and clean, but I had a very unfortunate experience keeping in mind I do have both nostrils pierced from another shop in Illinois and multiple ear piercings, this was the most freaky experience I’ve had.

Have been going to Scott White for almost 17 years now (yikes im getting old). He has tattooed everyone in my family, even my husband and friends. His work is excellent and precise. He cares very much about the whole experience for his clients and the work shows it!! Can't wait to start my next piece with him!

There's really not a better and more well rounded ink shop in South Florida. I've been watching Poochs work for over ten years now, and a couple of years ago finally got started on my back piece I've had in mind. I'm about 15 hours in, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the result. Pooch worked closely with me on the design, and made sure it was the vision for the piece I had. It probably helped that I gave him a large amount of creative freedom (and if you're going to one of these artists, you should do the same.)
The other artists there are phenomenal as well. Scott White is my girlfriend's tattoo artist, who worked to make sure she was 100% on board with the design and the final result. It was her first tattoo, and she hasn't experienced a moment of anything other than elation of how it turned out.
Dean's work is amazing too, ESPECIALLY if you're considering a horror theme. I don't have as a direct of tie to his work, but having spent so much time in the shop, I can certainly speak on how talented he is.
Bottom line:Most talent in a single shop I've seen in South Florida. Like any group of artists, they all have very distinct styles...but you cannot go wrong with any of the artists at Altered State.

Altered State is amazing. I’ve been going there for the past 5 years for all of my tattoos and I’m pretty covered. My husband has also been going to see Pooch for the past 20+ years and is completely covered with his phenomenal work. His work is legendary a whole style of his own. I trust Pooch, Scott and Dean HANDS DOWN every time to create masterpieces for me. They ALL have many many many years of experience as tattoo artists and all are artists as well. All I have to do is give them a concept and a few pics for inspiration and they always nail it. I’m complimented daily on my tattoos and can attribute it all to my boys at Altered State. The shop is clean, pristine and a cool environment, always good jams playing and all of the artists are friendly, welcoming and extremely professional. They are always respectfully honest with their clients in regards to guiding you in the right direction for your piece. If they feel something may not fit the body part you want to get your work done they will be honest with you as their objective is to always please their clients and give them the result they’re looking for. They never let me down. I can proudly say my boys at Altered State are the best and i will continue to go to them to create amazing art on my body! Check em out!
