Andrew was absolutely amazing!! Not only did he do an amazing job on my tattoo but his personality made the experience so enjoyable. This shop is so clean and the vibe is just awesome!! I’m from mississippi, but I would definitely make a trip all the way back here just to have Andrew do my tattoo! 5 stars all around!!

My husband and I decided to get tats together while we were down on vacation. Not matching ones! haha! Andrew was very professional, worked out the designs we had in our heads, quick and almost painless, I chose my foot as my placement. OUCH!
We made our appointment, we were there on time and he went right to work showing us what he came up with moved a thing or two around to make sure we were satisfied and got us done in no time. Definitely recommend Andrew!

We also loved our tattoo artist, Robert! Robert was an excellent artist who did a great job on our tattoos! He was kind, funny, and made everyone feel at ease! The place was clean and all of the staff was very courteous! I would definitely recommend Alan’s Cool Ink and Robert for your next tattoo!

After 3 days reviewing all the shops in the area, I checked this shop out.... Very professional yet still a fun comfortable atmosphere! I requested Freddie to do my tattoo and he was awesome, he put his own twist on my tattoo and it's great! Super clean lines, shading is perfect and equipment is spotless. Will definitely come back during vacation next year as well!

These people are amazing!! Stella and Andrew were both fantastic when me and my whole girl gang came in to get our ears pierced and tattoos. They were funny, engaging, and made us feel at ease. I definitely will be going back to them for my first tattoo!

In any tourist town you will find a lot of tattoo shops. However, what is rare, to find is an operation like Alan's Cool Ink.
From the moment you walk through the door you are greeted and made to feel welcome. The family, and the artists, are 'Johnny-on-the-spot' to give you assistance, advice, and information about any part of the business: from tattoos, to piercings, to vaping supplies, etc.
I have never felt rushed to make a purchase, or as though my meandering through the store and asking of casual questions were a bother.
There are walls full of inspirational art for tattoos, as well as clean, bright cases of piercing jewelry for purchase.
While everyone I have interacted with at the shop has been friendly and informative, I have to say that I keep coming back for the great artistry, cleverness, and personality of Andrew. He combines quirky humor, kindness, and professionalism, all the while crafting a piece of skin art that is...well, art!
If you are a local, take the time to drop in and see what they have to offer. If you are a tourist looking to make a memory, know that you are in good hands with this professional and experienced crew.

BEST TATTOO SHOP IN DESTIN. Andrew was awesome. From the first encounter with him, I knew I was working with a professional. With everything going on with COVID-19, I am so thankful that this shop was clean and they required masks for all customers. The process of scheduling my appointment was EASY! When I showed up for my appointment Andrew was ready. The tattoo took about 4 hours and it was worth it. If you are looking for the BEST, CLEAN, and PROFESSIONAL tattoo place in Destin... this is the only place you should go. Thank you for an awesome experience!

Came down for vacation and spontaneously decided to get a tattoo. I’m SO glad we chose Alan’s Cool Ink. We walked in and we’re immediately greeted by the sweetest lady (Christina maybe?) who made us feel welcomed and at home. Freddie was my artist! He was happy to draw me up something real quick and was very thorough and professional, but definitely relatable. He was seriously so nice. My tattoo turned out beautiful and exactly how I pictured it. On top of meeting all of these wonderful people the shop was so clean, organized, and spacious. I couldn’t ask for more! I absolutely recommend this place. I can’t express how great this shop and all of their employees are! Will definitely be stopping back by next time we come through Destin!
