Tattoo Zoo

Both me and my boyfriend went in for our first tattoos last night, and Kevin did an amazing job on the both of them. he made sure we were comfortable with the process and talked us both through the entire thing. The atmosphere in Tattoo Zoo is incredible, and Pocahontas kept everything upbeat and exciting. Would definitely recommend checking them out, and getting a tattoo from Kevin!

My friend and I called early during the day to schedule and they said they were walk in only. No big deal!
There was a warning for a tropical storm that may hit, they said that they were playing it by ear.. again no worries! We showed up to the tattoo parlor a couple hours later after it was apparent that the storm had passed us and when we walked in they were completely dead. I asked the small group of gentlemen that were standing together if they were closing early and he said they were debating it. I said ok! No problem (because we all get it ! If you have been slow all day everyone is probably ready to go home) one of the gentleman asked what we wanted we said just a little stem rose super simple. He pointed over to the gentleman in the corner and said for him to do it. When the man in the corner caught wind he was about to have to do a tattoo, without looking up from the tv started shaking his head and rolling his eyes. He then stood up, rolled his eyes again and asked us to show him what we wanted….. no thank you grown man baby I do not want a tattoo from you. We are adults.. when I treat people with respect I anticipate it in return. My friend and I are both in our 30’s and 40’s and we’ll established adults. We are also very understanding! A simple no would have done the trick so your theatrics and fit throwing like a child we’re not necessary. We simply walked in to see if you guys wanted the business. It is as simple as that. We come to Florida every year and get a tattoo for our trip. We normally go to defiance but thought we would try this place out because defiance was closed. We will not be back. The entire vibe was ruined over one employee with a terrible customer service front. Why would I ever let someone tattoo me that doesn’t want to. I suggest if you want to keep your tourist business you put the good customer service up front.

As a tattoo newbie, I was super nervous but Josh and the sweet receptionist there made my friends, and myself, feel comfortable and we ended up having fun through the process! Josh did an amazing job! We couldn’t be happier!! Thanks for a great experience!!

Had the most amazing experience at Tattoo Zoo. It is one of the best tattoo shops I have ever been to and I have been to a lot of tattoo shops. Me and my boyfriend were honestly amazed at how chill and cool the environment was and our tattoo artist Kevin was literally the chillest,coolest, most friendly guy you would ever meet he made our sea turtles look so amazing and he was so helpful every step of the way about how we wanted to design it. This place is so amazing and we will be returning when we come back to Florida. Thank you for everything Kevin!

My first tattoo experience was amazing! Very professional shop! I went in for a walk in tattoo and it came out perfect! At first Kevin was going to design and do my tattoo however, his iPad was acting up and he was not able to create the outline i wanted. He knew he was not up for the job and he called in Josh (who was off for the day). Which I appreciated because Kevin knew he wouldnt have created the piece i was looking for. Josh came in shortly and took up the job! he created a beautiful outline and we got started as soon as we could! Tattoo was fast and easy! We did a moon and cherry blossoms! He did some stippling shading and the flowers came out so dainty and pretty! I will be coming back! Tattoo Zoo is the place to go! Great Staff and fun environment! THANK YOU JOSH!!!!!

I definitely don't recommend going to Tyler. He will try to price gouge ya. Dude quoted me $1,200 just to finish color/shading on a shoulder piece and the outline has already been completed. I got 2 other quotes from other nearby tattoo shops beforehand and he quoted me $600 higher than the others!

This is where I went to get my first tattoo. I was feeling nervous but it turns out there was no reason to be. Kevin did a great job on my new tattoo, and I'm very happy with the results. I recommend Tattoo Zoo for all first timers looking for a great experience. Kevin you are truly gifted and professional.

The environment was clean and everyone was very laid back and patient with helping us find what tattoos we wanted. Felt very comfortable getting a tattoo here. Kevin did my girlfriends rib tattoo and did the lettering very well. Pat touched up a chest tattoo I had and fixed everything I needed fixed. Would recommend this tattoo shop

Kevin did an amazing job on me and my fiances matching sugar skulls. He was professional, quick, and has amazing talent. Plus he wasnt super expensive either. We are definitely going to be coming back to see him in the future. 💯🥰

I went there two years ago and got a tattoo of Ponyo by Josh! I didn’t have to wait at all and he did a pretty good job. A little pricey but well worth the money. He says that he likes to do roses, so maybe get a rose?
