Addiction Tattoo

I met 2 gentleman, and John was the one who assisted me with my piercing. He was extremely welcoming, down to earth, knowledgeable, and I completely trusted that he knew what he was doing. He made the experience more calming than I thought that it would be, and he made me want to come back! I am not a tattoo kinda gal, and I only got this piercing (daith) to help with headaches, but if I were to want more piercings or a tattoo, I would come here! Go check them out! I guarantee you won't be disappointed!

I went here because my brother recommended it I was so impressed. The artists take the time to talk to you and actually care what you want. I was debating where I should get my second tattoo and the staff really helped. I ended up getting my tattoo done by Keith he was funny and it helped a lot with nerves. I wish I had gotten my first tattoo here. I know in the future this is where I'll go. The environment is clean and mellow and prices are great.

I got my triple forward helix pierced. They ARE super nice so i felt comfortable. The guy who is doing my piercing reassured me he’s been doing it for 16 years. Was a little concerned about the low quality jewelry but they assured me it would be safe. They have super reviews so I had no reason not to believe them. I’ve gotten piercings before (not from them) so this wasn’t my first go around. I should’ve gone to my normal place but they were closed and I was inpatient.. lesson learned! Long story short I had to take out one of my piercings completely because they pierced it crooked!!! And the spacing was way off. That night when I got home I was concerned with the bar wasn’t going straight through where he had drawn the dot on my ear but I told myself it was just the swelling and it would straighten out. Fast forward over a month I’m telling you these piercings were never going to heal. I was still bleeding. I checked but the place I normally go and they said for me to come in. Lo and behold my top piercing was so crooked it was too close to the outer part of my cartilage my body was trying to push it out! The bottom two were salvageable I have since gotten titanium put in my ear. Already my ear is much happier, most of the swelling has already gone down.

Showed up at 1800 on a tuesday during its open hours to find the shop closed and no one answered the phone.

Addiction tattoo is amazing, their artist are all professional and friendly. MARC was my artist and he did an amazing job and explained everything in detail. Gave me breaks and put on some dope anime to watch. He made sure I ate and provided excellent customer service. I couldn't be happier with addiction tattoo. I highly recommend.

I had an awesome experience at Addiction. I got my septum pierced earlier this afternoon and John was awesome. I came in the day before to ask some questions and he took his time giving useful and informative answers. The prices are fair and the piercing turned out exactly how I wanted it. Will be back!!

John is one of the cleanest artists I've seen in a while. We looked all around Gainesville trying to find the right one and it was well worth the wait. He made us feel comfortable and was very specific in his procedure and preparation. Make sure to go in to meet with him to setup an appointment and depending on what you want, he'll work it out with you. Thanks again for the great tats for my wife and I, John!!

I've gotten 10 tattoos from Marc in the last 9 years. He's very professional while still fun and great time to be tattooed by. He has a realistic understanding of anatomy and what is possible and is clear in communicating with clients what to expect. His expertise is cartoon style, but he is talented in a wide array of art.

All the guys in there are awsome, there's no doubt about that. BUT when I've scheduled appointments for tattoos or even just touch ups, we've had several issues with keeping appointments. This happened twice for myself and 3 other people I referred to John. We had all showed up on time or early for him to not be there. I found it pretty embarrassing that I put myself out there, talking highly of John's work and my friends had no opportunity to believe what I had said about him. Keeping appointments is important for keeping business!!

I own a piercing shop here in Gainesville. My professional opinion on the folks here? Addiction is AWESOME. I have clients walk into my shop with stunning tattoos from Addiction. Each one is beautiful. Clean linework. Bold, vibrant colors. Creative, unique art pieces are rolling out of there every single day.

All the artists here are down to Earth, and friendly with huge creative ambitions to bring more art into this world.
