Finding a good tattoo shop in an unfamiliar town/city seems like a bit of a grab bag. However, I had a great experience here while on vacation. Mario was really thorough, professional, and friendly. They do walk-ins and I lucked out with my timing. I knew exactly what I wanted which was good because they do custom work so don’t expect walls and walls of flash to choose from. Do yourself a favor and at least have an idea in your head before you walk in and just say I want a tattoo! Not sure what...

This was my first tattoo and Matilde did an amazing job. She is very experienced and knowledgeable. I am very pleased with the result and recommend her highly. I'll definitely go to her for my future tattoos.

I went in and talked to G the tattoos artist. Great guy very nice and knows he stuff. Has a great hand for doing tattoos. Did a side piece for 2 hours and didn't feel much. I will come back for another tattoo.

This tattoo shop saved my full vacation experience. I wanted to get a small Miami tattoo before I left back home to California. I went to a tattoo shop down the street and had to walk out due to the bad customer service and called Blackwater Tattoo to see if they allowed Walk ins. THANK the HEAVENS they do!!! Truly the best tattoo shop and experience I have had this far and I have about 10 tattoos. Both Mario & Mateo Tattooed myself and my wife at the same time. They are the best and if I could fly back out just to get the rest of my tattoos I would. They were both very knowledgeable didn’t Rush us and helped us come up with a cool way To cover up a scar that I’ve been wanting to cover forever. The shop was nice & felt welcome. And I could tell both tattoo artist were no rookies. Mario drew up my tattoo on the spot & Mateo brung my tattoo to life while Mario tattooed my gf. I would recommend everyone to stop by and get your ink from Blackwater tattoo 💯 . Thank you both for caring and being so inviting.

Went to this place on my spring break with 2 of my friends and it was so quick and easy. Prices are not bad either. The tattoo artist was super helpful and did our tattoos very quickly. Would definitely recommend
