Tattoos by Lou Miami - South Beach

Gustavo was awesome, took what I wanted and customized to make it look even better. Me and my girl both got small tattoos about 3” in diameter, he was quick, professional, work came out awesome and wasn’t painful by any means. From someone who has several tats, this was a great experience.

I have 9 piercings and have never had a problem with any of them, I had my nose done here and it’s been 5 months of nightmare. The piercer clearly didn’t know what he was doing. He told me he could pierce with a hoop instead of a stud and others didn’t do that because “they didn’t know how”. He also told me as I was leaving to “spin the hoop” to help it heal, which I know is also totally wrong (had the same piercing before). I looked him up on the website after I left and he wasn’t even on it— not sure why they were letting a rando amateur pierce unsupervised. I finally had it removed today and it turns out I didn’t even have a piercing because he put it in incorrectly. Super irresponsible of the business owners. I’ve had a swollen, painful face for 5 months.

We were visiting South Beach and decide on the spur of the moment to get tattoos and piercings..the staff fit all three of us in and pierced and tattooed us. The staff was friendly and honest about our tattoos (we received finger tats) and gave us a fair price when the other shop across the street wanted to charge 150 bucks for the same tats...Fox was our artist and I cant remember the piercer but it was the Male piercer. They both were clean and professional.

I walked in two days ago for my first tattoo. I was so nervous but the staff was great they made me feel comfortable. Matt gave me a great deal and my artist Jeff did an awesome job I love it... I will be back for sure.

I’ve known this shop since the early 90’s and it sets the bar for professionalism in tattooing for me. After reading these awesome reviews I have to say that the tattooist is only half of the equation. It’s the wonderful clients that make the tattoo experience successful as well. If it weren’t for you we couldn’t do our jobs so well. People like George Docherty are a great example of how well things go when the customer is enthusiastic, polite and so easy to work with.

Came here for my fiancée to get a tattoo since Jeff had tattooed me years ago and the colors on my tattoo look just as great today as they did years ago. First impressions are everything Nina greeted us at the door with a smile. She was super friendly and helpful and professional. Today was the 3rd tattoo session for a full sleeve and color was placed. Looks amazing. Have maybe one or two more sessions and look forward to seeing. My fiancée is not from here and specifically comes to South Florida for the tattoo. Highly recommended.

Got two tats on the neck and loved them homie hooked me up did it fast and looked really good, definitely will come back to get more Ink and recommended to everyone

I loved my finger tattoo! Would have loved it more if it lasted more than 3 weeks though. As you can see by the photos, my manicure lasted longer.

My mom, sister and I all went into the South Beach shop on Monday and spoke with Edson and Jose about tattoos and piercing. I have been wanting a specific tattoo for several years and Edson’s design exceeded my expectations. My mom is also extremely pleased with her tattoo as well. This was a first experience for both of us and Edson put us both at ease. Jose was great piercing my sister’s ears. This shop is very clean and professional. I would recommend Edson and Jose to anyone in the South Beach area looking for a new tattoo.
