I found this shop on IG and followed a few of the artists. Booked an appointment with Jay and sent him my idea. Everything was smooth and Jay was awesome. Love the shop and it’s near my house so it was very convenient. Clean location and friendly staff.

Bad customer service/issue resolution at this shop. If you have any problem the artists tend to ignore your calls/messages and most artists there including shop owner have an idgaf attitude. They do have good artists that are talented not gonna lie, but that doesn’t set them apart. There are talented tattoo artists all over Miami that actually care about their customers and their image. I have an issue with an artist and he’s left me on read instead of working with me towards a solution, so I reached out to the shop owner and she just gave me a “too bad so sad” type of response and then blocked my number. I’ll take my business elsewhere and will tell my friends who frequent there about what happened to me as well as warn anyone I know.

I’ve been to Vanta twice for a couple tatts with Davi and have had a great experience both times. Everyone there is really nice and attentive. Davi is super sweet, professional, clean and is always quick to respond to messages. Id recommend her! I’ll prob be coming back to her soon 🥰

Vantablack is where you want to go if you want a good quality tattoo. All my work has been with Andy but all the other artist that work there are amazing. Everybody is Very friendly and attentive. Shop is always clean. I attached some pictures so you can see the type of work he does. Just an FYI, if you do book with Andy, he might be booked but I promise it is worth the wait.

I have been hesitant to post a review as I know that artist’s work is their livelihood and I’m hoping my experience was genuinely a one-off. I was referred to Jay by a friend of mine and thought his work was solid. The tattoo I wanted was simple script work and figured it shouldn’t be too difficult. I had scheduled my appointment for 11 a.m and Jay never arrived. Nobody, including his co-workers could get a hold of him. He later contacted me and told me to show up at 5. Upon arrival Jay was dry and didn’t seem very inviting. Not only was his attitude less than desirable but so was his work. Within a week the tattoo was almost completely faded. When I tried contacting him to receive a touch up he did not answer until I called the owner. When I came in for my second session he free handed the missing script and the result was lopsided and still faded. I am extremely disappointed as it was supposed to be my mother’s handwriting and I will now have to save for removal.
