I actually got my first tattoo from here in September 2016 when I was on vacation with my friend. She wanted to get a tattoo in memory of her friend that had passed away, so on a whim, I decided to get one of my own. I didn't want anything large or intricate, just something to be a reminder of one of the best vacations I had ever been on. When we walked in, we browsed briefly as the person at the counter helped another customer. When we spoke with her, she said it would probably be another hour or so before they could get to us. My friend was being impatient and decided to go down the street to another shop to get her tattoo. I felt uncomfortable there personally, and when I was quoted for what I was wanting, I felt it was excessive. She got hers and seemed very satisfied, but I still wanted to see what Gulf Coast had to say. We went back and not only was I quoted significantly less than at the other place, but everyone was very welcoming and friendly. I want to say it was Joey who did my tattoo, and he was very nice and professional. I feel like he did a great job, and I am definitely glad I got my tattoo there instead of the the other place.

Went and saw Derek tonight while I'm here in the fabulous PCB on Spring Break with the kiddos. I ended up getting 4 tats done by Derek and will definitely be coming back. He was very on point with detail and made sure I was comfortable during the entire process. Staff was very welcoming and shop was clean. Highly recommend!

Great place to get a tattoo! Riley is an amazing artist and next time we are in the area I will be going back to her to get another one! The shop is very clean and the artist are very personable and friendly! And the price for what we got was great!

If I could give more than five stars I would! I had been researching for a couple of months for my first tattoo & am so happy I chose this place. After reading the reviews, I wanted to request Joey as my artist & was able to get an appointment with him in the same day. Even though my tattoo was super small and probably only lasted 10 minutes, I had nothing but an amazing experince. Joey and his wife were super nice & made me feel very comfortable from the time I walked in.
I had by best friend with me who has had several tattoos at other shops & said she couldnt believe how nice the service was. I had a fear of flinching and Joey was able to test it on me without ink so I knew what to expect. They also give you suckers while you're getting it done. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!!

Had my ink done by Jessalyn Scott. I would recommend her to anyone who asks. Her work is beautiful and she definitely takes the time to make sure you are happy with placement and design before that first cut.

I always get a souvenir tattoo while on vacation. This shop was the best one I've been to while on vacation. I am heavily tattooed and understand it is not a lot of fun for artists to do these little souvenir tattoos (but im also not going to have a stranger do an extensive peice), but this shop showed nothing but interest in doing our tats and were so incredibly friendly and welcoming.
I am also use to paying 3x what a tattoo is worth at these vacation hot spot studios, but this one didn't price gouge.

I got tattooed by Riley and she was professional and very sweet! She asked if I was sure I loved the placement and design before starting and checked on me throughout the process. The tattoos turned out great and I highly recommend her!!

I got a rose tattoo was charged $150 (where I went wrong) anyway as we are setting up for the tattoo the guy uses deodorant to apply the stencil (guess he learned in prison) now my tattoo is “healed” and raised because it wasn’t done right also he messed up adding a unnecessary line that stands out. I would advise anyone not to go to this shop if you want a nice looking tattoo & a professional experience. & not get ripped off.

What a fun experience! I went there a few days ago to get my 1st tattoo and I have to admit I was a little bit nervous, but Joey and his wife were so nice and down to earth my case of nerves only lasted about 5 minutes.
And I absolutely LOVE my tatoo! The colors in it are so pretty and Joey even added a lot more detail than I ever expected! I will definitely be back, and would recommend this place to anyone I know!!
