Shades of Grey Tattoos

Hands down one of the best shops in town! ¥’all definitely need to check them out. Jim Cooper is a beast. I definitely will be going back for more.

We walked in looking to get some tattoos. The shop was very clean and well decorated. Lots of sugar skull art if you’re a fan, which i happen to be ! Everyone in the shop was professional, welcoming, and inviting. My cousin liked her 1st tattoo so much she ended up getting a 2nd as we were paying for the 1st! Highly recommend, they deserve the 5 stars and more. The cute little betta fish that resides there was a bonus for me.

I got my first tattoo here and they were all very kind and welcoming here. Ian Jones did an amazing job with my tattoo and he was also very friendly.

Tech advised if the process he was using in communicating to the client between the time of deposit until the actual apt and this never took place. Had to personally reach out to tech personally on the status of services to be provided on day of apt. On day of apt a stencil was used to show the finished product which was faded at best and was guaranteed end result would show what was requested. After leaving shop and looking at result more closely , realized finished product was WRONG. LUCKILY enough space was open to add the MISSING letter and punctuation that wasn’t done at apt. When called owner to ask for some type of partial refund for the complete inconvenience was told they were human and make mistakes yet this was a PERMANENT tattoo I am a nurse that does surgeries which are PERMANENT and can’t tell a patient that I’m human if I remove or operate on the wrong body part. Very disappointed and will NOT recommend this tattoo parlor nor will we be back. CHECK EVERY DOTTED I AND CROSSED T and PUNCTUATION. “REGURT”. Not regret.

The people at this shop are AWESOME! They’re all super nice and professional! I will never go anywhere else! I’d rather drive 2 1/2 hours for awesome service and quality professional tattoos than go somewhere nearby and be dissatisfied. Mike did my tattoo and he is amazing!!! The shop is really clean too!

Ricco did such a great job on both me and my fiancé’s tattoos. Such a nice and clean atmosphere too. Definitely made us feel welcomed. Will definitely be going back for another tattoo!

if you are looking for great work, clean studio, good prices, and friendly staff this is a great choice. Erik was my artist today and he couldn't have been better. He worked to make sure what i wanted would work with the changes that were necessary. They are very knowledgeable and have been doing this for well over two decades. you will be very satisfied choosing this studio.

Had a great experience here today while Eric helped memorialize my furbaby that passed a few weeks ago. Now she will be with me forever. The place was clean and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I definitely recommend them if you want great quality work

I'm a Marine from NAS Pensacola and got a realistic dinosaur skeleton here. I called and got a seat same day with Mike. He did a crazy good job and made sure my tattoo was in regs. He took his time and made sure the tattoo was satisfactory for both him and me. It came out great and I'm very happy with it and I will definitely be back. If your a Marine in the area looking for a solid shop go here. Much better than any others in the local area.

If you are thinking about getting a tattoo done, then the answer is go for it and make sure it’s Shades of Gray. The work is nothing but the best you can get in Pensacola as is expected from a location that has more than 100 years of experience between the tattoo artists. I got a crown placed on my ankle with the only regret being why I have not got it done sooner. As a first timer getting work done, I was a little hesitant but the process was efficient and informative. I am very confident in the information I was provided and greatly pleased with the assistance the staff gave. Definitely will be returning again!
