Copper Coil Tattoo

I have quite a few tattoos so I've obviously been to quite a few different shops across the country in my travels and I must say picking the right shop and artist can be just as important as picking the right tattoo. I recently moved to the area and was looking to get some work done on a piece that was for a close friend who passed away so I was pretty picky about who I wanted to do it as well as the shop. I think its crucial to get a good vibe from your artist and the environment you will be in because for many, their first time experience can either make or break them from coming back. So to sum it up, I touched base with multiple artists to try and find the best fit and as soon as I walked into Copper Coil I got a great vibe, Mike and Skylar were super friendly and welcoming. Their shop is very clean and very comfortable, and they both do a great job of making you feel more like a friend than a customer. Mike worked with me on my ideas and we came up with something that I couldn't be happier with! I know that there are a lot of amazing options out there but I can speak from experience and say I truly got a 5 Star experience while as was there and most of all I got a 5 star tattoo. I highly recommend Copper Coil and will definitely be stopping in again in the future!

Had an awesome time getting tattooed at this shop! Skyler & Mike were very friendly and made me feel comfortable the entire time. Skyler’s work is incredibly detailed and always original. Definitely my favorite tattoo shop. Can’t wait to come back for another piece!

Oh my where to start with these two?! First and foremost their quality and attention to detail is out of this world! Second?! Absolutely hilarious! Both of them! They make you feel at home and at ease the entire time you're with them. There is never a dull conversation in this shop. Super clean and extremely professional! My husband and I absolutely love every experience we have here. We've literally followed Skylar since he started tattooing in Saint Augustine and Mike is just an added bonus. This isn't biased these guys do killer work!! You won't be disappointed!

Mike Franco is a true artist in every sense of the word. He has tattooed my full right arm as well as my wife’s right arm. Including a tribal cover up on my right arm that is ON POINT!! The line work and shading Is amazing and the attention to detail is even better. I have had several artists over the years and there’s no one I trust more. Further more his designs are truly one of a kind each piece as unique as the person receiving it. Mike and Skylar are true professionals and make the tattoo experience enjoyable and fun. Looking forward to my next work of art soon!!

What a great experience! My wife and I came from out-of-town and were looking for a place to get tattoos on our anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised that not only was Skyler at Copper Coil able to accommodate our request, he was INCREDIBLY skilled and did AMAZING work! He even came in early the following day to allow us the opportunity to complete our requests, as his schedule was booked for the day we arrived. I would HIGHLY recommend this place! Great atmosphere and Great artists! Worth every penny!

Skyler and Mike are not just great tattoo artists, but amazing people. They not only listen to what you as a client want, but take those ideas and make amazing artwork. The shop is great, comfortable, and always inviting. The Shipp family stops in just to say hi to the boys and visit. Although we always are willing to get some ink, but both artists are great humans too! Looking forward to next tattoo session with either!

Mike and Skyler are extremely talented tattoo artists. I got one tattoo done there and couldn't stop making new appointments! They reminded me how much I love getting tattooed after taking years off from it to have my babies. The shop has the best vibe and they're such fun guys to hangout with. I recommend them to everyone I can.

I've received several tattoos from Skyler and I would not trust anyone else. Not only is his work phenomenal, but he makes the entire process comfortable along the way (even through a 6 hour long session). Everyone at the shop is amazing in every way possible. I walked into Copper Coil on a spur of the moment decision which turned into the best decision I've made. Skyler is an amazing artist! He is incredibly easy to work with, nice, and professional. He did a great job on my back piece and gave me exactly what I was looking for. The shop itself is very clean and comfortable; both Skyler and Mike are incredible (and incredibly funny) guys who made getting my second tattoo and amazing experience!
