Tom is outstanding. His creativity and artistic talents put new life into my old tattoos. The atmosphere is great and very professionally sanitized. Great music and fantastic customer service to make any newcomer feel welcomed and comfortable. The prices are very reasonable! If you are looking for the perfect tattoo shop in town look no further, this is it! I will definitely be going back to Tom for some more tattoos.

They did absolutely amazing with my first tattoo. I had "This too shall pass" tattooed on my right shoulder in November of 2017, and they did such an amazing job. This was my first tattoo and I was super nervous, but they were super nice and kept me distracted from the fact that there were like 50 tiny ass needles in my skin continuously for like 15 minutes. I had this tattoo done about 3 months after turning 17 and they were super helpful with telling me what all I had to do to get the tattoo. The process was super easy (I literally had to go to a bank and get a notarized signature). I would definitely recommend Stay True to anyone! They do such an awesome job on all their work. I cant wait to go back in 2 weeks to get my second tattoo with my college roommate (Go Saints!) :)

Very friendly and professional. My wife and I decided to get matching tatts on vacation. Checked out the local shops and decided to go to Stay True. Couldn't be happier with the whole experience. Her first tattoo and she felt very comfortable throughout.

They fall under the tattooist label more than tattoo artist. No flash, no inspired art of their own, more of order takers. That can be perfectly ok, just a characteristic of the business.
But do not request anything political. They will do a bad job on purpose. They will elect to make it as large as possible if they dislike the concept, with shoddy line work and act like thinner needles don’t exist.

With over +$1.5k work of ink from this place, I'd say they do an excellent job! I get compliments on color retention and design ALL THE TIME. I know part of it is my skin, but the other parts are all them. I will definitely be out there again for more work when I get the money. Travis did the majority of my work, but Tom does an awesome job, too. My brother has far more work than I do from them and his ink is amazing. Top notch work from top notch people. I highly recommend them, but don't go in there wanting anything tribal. Just an FYI. Oh, and they're a cash only place. Keep that in mind!
